No, you have to get him to the doctor ASAP! He has to have meds to clear that up. Plus, it is VERY CONTAGIOIUS and could spread to his other eye as well as to you. There has to be a free clinic or somewhere that you can take him to get him treated. Or, just suck it up and pay the bill... you have to get him to the doctor. It can't wait and the infection could get worse.

Oh yeah definitely the natural look is much better... the only thing i might suggest is instead of using coral pink blush... maybe try a bronzer thats a little less pink since you're tan. But other than that it sounds like you got the make up thing down until you get a little bit older.

Similasan Allergy Eye Relief eye drops,For relieving discharge, warm compresses are great for removing the sticky residue as well as the crusty, dried portions around the eyes. Pink eye is very contagious so try this but once you can take him to the docto do so! or you can go to the ER and he can be seen and you won't be charged and once you are billed take that to your insurance company to cover it!

i agree- similisan is good. i used salt water- very small salt to water ratio- boiled then cooled to sterilize- when i didn't have insurance once. someone who is into all natural healing told me about it. it is basically cleaning the affected area with saline solution a few times a day with a cotton ball. it took two weeks to heal, but that was all we could do at the time. i do usually use antibiotics though
edit- similisan also makes pink eye relief drops

Some doctors won't even make an appointment for pink eye, they just tell you to buy the polysporin eye and ear drops and follow the instructions on the bottle. If you/your wife are breastfeeding breast milk has also been shown to cure conjunctivits.

No. If you think he has pink eye (the whites of his eye/eyes is/are pink/red), then he needs to see a doctor. That's all.

Not that I know of. I am pretty sure it has to be treated with an antibotic. However, you should call your pharmacy and ask them. They may have something, but I wouldn't count on it.

He needs antibiotics... take him to the ER, they can bill you... and the antibiotics shouldn't be more than $12.
