My son is 1 1/2 years (19 months) and he has started potty training. He started showing signs that he wanted to use the potty, he would tell me when is was "stinky", and then he takes off his diaper whenever he pees. So, I got out the potty chair. He pooped in it the first time! Then he didn't want the potty chair anymore, he wanted the "big potty". So, I got a seat insert. He has been doing this about 2 weeks now. He is getting very good. Of course he still uses his diapers more, but it still wows me. We have even made up a potty song for him which he loves to dance to...

Has anyone else experienced potty training at such an early age? defenetly with boys?

I would consider my son very advanced for his age though...he can say sentences, etc.

sometimes i'm fine other times i'm uneasy when i'm around my friends new baby. and i have another friend who's having a baby next month. i don't know how i'm going to see her. i would like to meet her baby. when i had to take my friend who already has hers to the hospital during labor that made me feel better for awhile. then seeing the happy family together starting getting to me. i miscarried last year from a rape. i don't know what this is.

Our three year old has been using pullups since she grew out of nappies. For a while she was waking up dry but now she is always peeing in them during the night and I have caught her peeing in them while sitting in front of the TV rather than getting up to go to the toilet! We went cold turkey for a while with no pullups but she wet the bed once sometimes twice in the night. After a week we put the pullups back on. How can we help her stop wetting the bed?

I'm thinking digital of course, but I have heard that the quality of some of those kid-proof cameras is terrible. I don't want to spend a lot on something that might break, but if the quality stinks, she'll get frustrated with it.

If you havent read my first question then it proubly wont make since. So yah. Well, i didnt get to some of the peoples answers onhere in time so i just sat in my room waitin. When he came up there he whooped my bare butt wif a freakin belt, and now i got like bruises cause he was so mad. Im not one to complain but i swear it still hurts and it been a whole day. I couldnt even sit down in any of my classes, and got in trouble.

Why is it that when women/girls are having babies, and they are not married, they more than often don't want to give the baby the father's name? The reasons are always because of not being married (but most are in a relationship with that man), or because he cheated on her, or because it's easier for mom and baby to have the same last name. Why does the father get left out? It's his baby too, so why doesn't he get to have the same last name? Being a boyfriend/husband and a father are 2 different things. Maybe the relationship didnt work out, but doesn't mean that he isn't going to be a good father. Especially with teen girls, they just seem to assume that the father isn't going to be in the picture when they don't know. And everyone makes a point to say the baby belongs to just the mother. They seem to forget that the baby has a dad. I know there are the guys out there that don't want the baby and never do anything to help, or take part in their lives, but many do.

I've never really traveled anywhere and I'm in California..tomorrow morning (Thursday morning) me&my favorite are gonna drive to Las Vegas, Nevada (about 7 hours away)
and we aren't coming home until Sunday around noon(after lunch)

i've never had to pack anything before and this 3 day trip is freaking me out!!!!1 i have to pack my own suitcase, i am a 15 year old girl and i need your help...like literally tell me how many of each item i will need please help! make me a list..

the only thing i can think of that i absolutely must take is my toothbrush, cellphone&charger, and my hair straightener(i heard there is a blow dryer in the hotels..is this true??)...
ah im so lost help me!!!!!

Hi I just found out I was pregnant yesterday and so far im fine besides the gas and constipation. Im sure im not more then a month pregnant or could be about 5 weeks not sure. Does this mean I won't get morning sickness I pray I don't? What month does it actually start or is there a certain time?

Also can anyone give me a good website to use to calculate how far I could be?

i am 15 years old 21 week and 3 days my parents no of course they were upset. they clame they cant financially support the child .u can see its to late for an abortion the father wont talk to me and i cant get no contact with him he is 20 years old my parents wanted me to abort and i am kind of running out of options so please if u got any ideas please help i would appreciate it thanks alot

I went the the OBGYN yesterday and I am 14 wks pregnant. When they tried to hear the heartbeat using the dopler all they got was mine... They said my heartbeat was right beside the babys so they couldn't hear the babys... They did ultrasound and we seen the heart beating and the baby was moving and growing well... But since they did the external ultrasound I couldn't hear the heartbeat.... The doctor said that everything was fine and that sometimes they just can't pick up the babys heartbeat on the dopler.... The nurse said that 14wks is an "ify" age to hear the heartbeat on the dopler.... I trust my doctor and am not real worried I just was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.... I thought that maybe they couldn't hear it cause I am "chubby" (thats putting it nicely). I am 30-40lbs overweight.... Could this be it? Thanks SO much.... Oh yeah this is my first "bundle of joy".

39 weeks pregnant...i had my menbranes stripped a wwk and half ago i was 3cm short..i have alot of pelvic pain its pretty much hard to do anything..i really dont wana get induced..i tried sex..walking...nd rasberry tea and still nothing ..so someone said drink castor oil...i did bout an hour ago pretty gross...i took bout 4 tablespoons , is that good enough? will that make my labor start?

In September of 2006 when I was 13 I was raped by a much older man in my own home and ended up pregnant. I kept my baby throught it all and love her in spite of its hard ships and she was born right after I turned 14. Over the summer I started dating a close friend and we ended up having sex a few times then I told him I didnt want to do it anymore that I felt were too young. He got mad and broke up with me. Just today I learned as a result of our sexual relations I am five weeks pregnant. I cant handle having two babies at the age of 15 and I really just wander what i should do. I feel like because I was stupid I am now paying. I can barely handle one and I do this alone. My dad is always gone and my mom works late nights and is asleep in the day so I am alone at rasing my baby and my 6 year old sister. I just am at a dead end and really hurting for some nice advice now. What should I do about this?
