my son is the same way as soon as he sees the blue bulb he knows what time it is and he will start putting his hands over his face, it's cute but annoying. The only way i've been able to get his boogies out lately is by using the little noses saline drops it's just as hard to get that in his nose but if i'm successful most of the time he just sneezes them out and I just wipe. I get scared that with all the moving and fighting i'm going to hurt his nose so the drops work pretty fine. Good luck let me know if you find a new method.

mine never liked having their nose wiped. I have no clue why but maybe if its really runny, it is hurting him when you have to wipe 20 times a day.

use an unscented, alcohol free, wet baby wipe instead of a tissue. Or a wet face washer so it doesn't sting so much

my son dose that to and he is 3. hes been doing that seen he was 7 mos. its bc they dont want you to. they like to be that way. all kids do! just let is go and wait the it 30 mins to his bed time and give him a bath and he will go right to sleep. and then he wont care so much and he needs to be clean.

it scares him because babies like to breath through their nose, and when you put something in their nose they cry because they are scared of not being able to breath. if he hasnt already then when he gets a little older he will try to push you away when you clean his nose. i dont know for sure if thats why but its my theory on it.

Because babies breath mostly out of their nose and when you clean it you are making him hold his breath....babies don't like that! Kind of like when you blow air in their face they stop breathing for a second.

Because he doesn't like it. When my child was congested, she absolutely would not let me use anything to get her boogies out. I could only wipe the outside with a tissue.
