My 5 month old daughter has bad chest congestion, and a horrible cough. I've been using a vicks vaporizer and am wondering if that is the reason for the sudden productive cough........ She has had a dry hacking cough off and on for the past couple days but only since last night has it gotten worse. I have been using ONLY vapor rub (infants of course) until last night because my son was badly sick and needed it in his room. I can't win for losing... lol.. But anyhow, is it the cause for the productive cough? Is it safe to use with such a small child? I have only had it on for a total of a couple hours. And she also has pimply bumps on her chest and cheeks... Could that be a reaction from the vapor rub?? Her appointment with the doctor is in 2 hours, but I just wanted to get some opinions from other people... Thank You!!!

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have been told that raspberry leaf tea, fresh pineapple and curry can soften your muscels and help you into labour.
If i was to have all of this in one sitting once a day for a few days would i go into labour?
The baby is enaged and my belly is HUGE.....

i'm a sahm that has no family around me and a husband that works long hours. My 2 year old son has got to be the most annoying, whinny, kid ever! He just whines all the time and he's slowly driving me crazy! My patients is wearing thin and accompanying the constant whining is the 2 yr old temper tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. But between those two I think i'm about to loose my mind. Please is there anyone out there that can help me figure a way to stop the whining? or at least cut it down? Anything or any advice would be helpful. Because at this point i just wanna pack my bags and leave!!

So here is the scenario, our baby of 8 months is not sleeping past 3:30ish. He goes to bed at 7:30PM and goes through till 3:30AM. At that time he does not go to bed you can let him cry and he will not stop till we go pick him up and bring him in the bed. My wife since he was 3-4 months been taking her in the bed with her after he wakes up around 5-6ish but now its 3:30AM and that is it. We are both getting very frustrated as we can not sleep, when he goes in the bed with my wife he just tosses and turns. My daughter will be going in for her two month check-up and shots soon, and I am very concerned. For any of you who have been through this, how bad do the shots seem to hurt the babies? And how bad do they feel afterwards, and for how long? I am not trying to be a wimp, but I sure feel like one...I will probably cry more than she will!! Any helpful info or advice? Thanks!!

I have had my dog for about 10 years and he just sit's around all day and doesn't do anything. I wanna teach him some tricks to spice it up a little.

Im not talking walking on string through a ring of fire, although that would be an awesome trick. Can i teach him to get the paper or maybe fetch me my trousers after a long night of drinking alone.

My daughter is 8 weeks old. She is a delight, but she will wake up for a feeding and not go back to sleep @ night. She will sleep ok from 11pm-1 or 2 am, wake up and eat...then not go back to sleep. She will cry and cry unless I hold her and rock her. Then if I try to put her back in her basinett she will be up in 5 minutes and the cycle starts again. So, I am getting maybe 2 hours of sleep early on in the night, then nothing. I am almost falling asleep driving to work. Due to our work schedules, I have no help at night. Then taking a nap when I get home is out of the question because she is colicky early evenings. She is on nutramigen, and mylicon for gas. Any tricks to getting her to sleep longer or fall asleep after her mid-night feeding?? Any ideas on how to deal at work w/ no sleep. I am in a complete fog all the time and my job is suffering. HELP =(

And then they go and have more after the first. Why wouldn't they just wait til they are financial stable enough to stay home to raise their own child. Of course I am not including unplanned pregnancies.

I have done some research with no luck so now I'm going to ask. Heres my story October of 2006 was my last depo shot I have had normal periods since Feb. Now on Oct 23 I started my period after I was 4 days late, and I went to the ER because I had pain. I use to get cyst all the time so I thought that what it was and I was right. 2 days ago I went to the OBGYN they did an internal ultra sound and found a 1" cyst on my right ovary. That night I went home and used an ovulation test and for the first time it was positive, then yesterday it was also positive. The doctor told me that the cyst could be the one that makes a baby. Has anyone every had this problem? Do you think the ultra sound is the reason I got positive or the cysts? I had not been tracking my ovulation in a couple months. He also talked about putting my on Clomid in 2 months if I still have no luck. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

it looks like a severe allergic reaction, but, to what?doctor said it was diaper rash, does.nt look like!!suggested creams to apply siloderm and momenta ..but no effect..!! can a diaper rash be so severe??? its been 6 days!! pls suggest. i use sudocrem thrice a day!!how many days will this take to cure???I breastfeed!!

My son is 7 months old. He has been acting okay, but for the last four days now, he's been pooing about 7-8 times a day...sometimes 3 poos before 8am! He normally goes about 3-4 times, so this is quite strange. In addition, the consistency is very liquidy, not mucusy, just very soft and sometimes water-like...colors rotate from green, yellow to brown.

He has gone through all the veggies and started fruit on Monday (bananas) which he liked and thought it would bind, but it hasn't done a thing. He is also rejecting food now - won't drink his whole bottle, etc. He wouldn't eat bananas, apples or any veggies either. Just cereal mixed with his formula.

Some people say its teething, but I don't feel any bumps in his mouth. I am taking him to the doctor this morning, but wonder if anyone has any insights.

my son is 8months,don't know if he's spoiled. i think he is! In his Play yard he stays not more than 5minutes,refuses to sit in the high chair and bouncer!! i'm reading a book " bringing up boys" that says we shouldn't ignore when they cry ,but then i carry him around all the time whatever i do, my back hurts already! what can i do?

I am having constant period like cramps I litterally feel like I have my period. They don't come and go though it's a constant cramp. I am nuaseated and over all just feel like crap. This is my second baby and I didn't have this with my first at all. I am going to call my dr when they open I was just wondering what your thoughts were. Thanks

I had a c-section 3 weeks ago and for the last couple days I noticed a very small amount of leakage from one spot of the incision. It was dried up on my underwear and was like a reddish/yellowish color-I called doctor office and the nurse there said that was normal as incsion site starts to heal as long as it isn;t constantly leaking or soaking thru my underwear and/or clothes. I just wanted to check with some of you that has also had a c-section. If you had this type of drainage from the incision please share you experience with me and did it turn out to be more than just "normal" like did any of you ever develope an infection and if so what were your signs/symptoms that something was wrong? Also I noticed yesterday that outside of the left side of my vagina was itching and swollen-anyone have this?
