I think picking out the right girls name is very difficult because you want something that sounds sweet and girly, yet a name that will mature with them as they age.
I still have a hard time picturing a serious, business woman, or grandmother named.... "Brittany"

Here are a few suggestions...
Emma Kay
Kara Christine
Amelia Paige
Paige Ashlyn
Amelia Rose
Isabella Grace

I'm going to give you some more unusual, classic names with cute, modern nicknames. It's easier to be uncommon if you go with classic names.

Amelia Margaret -nn Amy, Mimi, or Meela (my sister's name and nicknames)
Callista Jade -nn Callie
Lucinda Belle -nn Lucy
Eleanor Grace -nn Norah, Nellie, Ellie, or Ella
Regina Rose -Reggie, Rory
Sophia Hope -Sophie, Phia
Katherine Elizabeth -Katie, Kat, Kate, Katie Beth
Penelope Violet -Penny, Nellie, Nella, Pixie, Pia, Pippa, Lola

Hope these help!

I have a Kacie, and a Carmella... I've named a Madison and a Paige. Jasmine was on my list when I was picking Carmella's name too.

One of the most wonderful gifts you can give to your child is a name that has a special meaning to you. We named our daughter Luna. I think it's unique and sweet but some people find it a little weird.

I would look at the meaning of a name, instead of common names spelled differently ex. Lisa, Leesa

Meanings make a name more special and give a story to tell for your girl.
