I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have been told that raspberry leaf tea, fresh pineapple and curry can soften your muscels and help you into labour.
If i was to have all of this in one sitting once a day for a few days would i go into labour?
The baby is enaged and my belly is HUGE.....

no guarantee - I have tried (and am still trying!) all of these and am 38weeks and still nothing is happening - I have also tried lots of sex with no luck either!
The baby will just come when it is ready!

As well as cod liver oil, Sex, yada yada yada - all old wife's tales I am afraid.

Baby will come when baby is ready, I have had 4 children, all of them 10 days late, I tried everything but to no avail. My midwife did "sweep" my cervix on the 3rd baby and she did arrive the next day, so other than medical intervention it is a case of waiting. 37 weeks is too early, enjoy the last 3/4 weeks cos when that bundle of fun arrives ur feet won't touch the ground.

All the best. XX

I went to the doc @ 42 weeks and she asked if I wanted her to get me started... I was 18 and had no idea about any of it so I said "um... ok"... she laid me back like I was going to get an internal exam, but she stuck 2 fingers in and curved them a little then in one hard motion circled them around... it hutr a little but she explained that this would "move things along"... and boy was she right, I gave birth 15 hours later with no complications. I really don't know what it's called, but I think she just pissed off my baby and made her want to come out. Try a lot of walking too, that seems to help with labor.

raspberry leaf tea is great for helping to bring on labour. it worked with my son drank six cups on the saturday and went into labour on the sunday. it also makes for an easier labour as it softens the cervix . good luck

Your body goes into labor when the baby's body is completed developing (generally its the lungs) and it releases hormones into the placenta which cue your body to release its own hormones that trigger labor.

Theres a reason why it happens on its own.

Stimulating your nipples and trying to poop will work faster than anything you might eat.

don't try to hurry a process of nature , nothing comes before it's time and babies are at perfection.

No guarantee it would work even if you did them all, try sex too.

don't know, you could also try sex, or jumping up and down and a hot bath.
