To reject her 5 year old son and 11 year old daughter when he/she needs her. To call him/her names like stupid, *****, animal..etc for no reason only because he wants to show the mom that the kid did something and is proud,To say kids are better then him/her and say she doesn't love him not to say something nice like I love you.To lower there self esteem to make her kids bad about them self. To not encourage them to not say ''you can do it''. To make them feel like there not important and make them feel shy now........

Do you think this is right.
Answer plz.

Amazingly at 21 months old my son could recite his ABC's, recognize them on paper, and was able to write 2-3 letters on his own. Also he was able count to 40. Now at 24m he seems bored with learning in general. How do I stimulate him?

I've got a dilemma and I'm not sure which way to go, so I'd like to hear some advice from people who've been there.
I hate my job. Hate it. The only benefit is that I work 3 12 hour shifts, and my Mom works 4 10 hour shifts. We've been able to work opposite of each other (we're at the same location, different jobs) so my son doesn't have to go to day care.
Two different positions have come up at my hospital. The pay is roughly the same that I'm making now, only these jobs are both 5 8 hour shifts, no weekends, no holidays, on occasion an evening shift (no nights), mostly days. The problem with that would be that I'd have to either find a babysitter or put my son in day care.
So do I stick it out in a job I hate with convenient hours? Or try something different but put my child in day care 4 days a week (mom would have him the other day while I'm at work)?

What do you think of the name Sarah Jeanette?
too old fashioned?
It took forever for my husband and I to finally find a first name we agree on and another eternity (ok, I know thats an exaggeration;) ) to agree on a middle name.

His grandmother's name was Joann and my great grandmother's middle name was Jean, so, since all of them are a derivation of John, we thought it would be a nice homage to both of them.
I also kind of like it because I think Jeannie and S.J. are cute nicknames.
Our last name is Martin if that helps.
If you dont like it, what would you suggest?
(we've already thrown out Ashley, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Jane, Olivia, all K-names, and a few others;) )

I know the ranges and I know each pregnancy is different.
I was just curious to know what the HCG level was when you were 9 weeks? I had mine done and it was 113 199.
Thank you.

First off a little background...I'm 8 DPO and I'm testing with "early" tests which say they can detect pregnancy at 6-8 DPO.

I took 1 test this afternoon, read it at 3 minutes and forgot about it...at 20 minutes I remembered and checked again...no real reason why, I just looked....there was a very very faint test line, I blew it off as an evap line, but decided to test again a few hours later...this time I noticed a VERY VERY faint line at 3 minutes....I showed dh and he saw it too ( after squinting for a sec) we waited and then did 2 more tests....both are the same...it's SO faint you really have to look just right....but it's there...in the same exact spot on all the tests...just super light...I mean so light at fist glance it looks like a negitive...you have to look for the line and then you notice a really faint line running top to bottom...what does it mean?!!!! we are testing again in the morning but I'm so excited that I really need some feed back so I can sleep...haha

I still nurse her, only at night to get her to fall asleep. I really want to stop because it's not comfortable for me, honestly it hurts. And not only that but my husband is really getting on me to stop because he wants my breasts back, he keeps saying I gave them up for a whole year and you were supposed to quit after she turned one....well anyway, I know it's my body and whatever, but I just wants some advice preferably from someone who has gone through a similar situation. She just won't quit, she tugs at my shirt and screams uncontrolably until I nurse her at night. HELP!!!!!

how do you think is the best way to tell your adopted child any of the following information without them feeling like total poo?
1.) His b-mom did drugs while pregnant
2.) She decided to parent the other children (1 id 20mos
older1 is 20mos younger. Both healthy
3.) she wants absolutely no contact
4.) b-dad is incarcrated for non-support (and has a new baby on the way)

Do I tell him EVERYTHING. When? when he's an adult.

My mom was an alcoholic who left me in the car at parties, who made sure there was beer before milk in the fridge. At 5 I was mixing her drinks. She slept with my sisters b-friend and got pregnant. And for years I felt like I was doomed to be like her. Of course now I undrstand that I'm my own person, but I don't want him to think that he is doomed to be like them.

Other names we are considering (with better meanings): Samantha, Isabel, Ella, Eliana, Lauren. Please share more ideas - we can't decide on anything!
PS - middle name is most likely "Jane"

My name is Lauren and I am 14 years old and am a freshman in High School. I am blonde, and I have big boobs from what all of my friends, and the boys say. I am a size 36 C. All of the boys at my school say that I should work at Hooters, or become a Playboy Bunny. I don't know what to do to not be called Little Miss Playboy Bunny, or Hooters Girl. All of my friends are jealous of me because I have a really hot boyfriend, have big boobs, and that a lot of boys like me. How can I get ride of some of the nicknames that people have given me? I don't mind them really, but when guys feel you up everyday it gets annoying. Please help me!!!! My parents are never home so I can't talk to them!!

1. What is your favorite
2. Why
3.What is your least favorite
4. Why

Any other names along the same lines would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Riley Sophia
Claire Sophia
Sophia Claire
Madelyn Rose
Reese Marie (any other suggestions for middle names here?)

And for a boy:
Riley Ian

I need more boy names. Any help is appreciated. Thank you so much for your time.

By his choice, my daughter never saw her father until she was almost 5 years old. By his choice, when she was 6 years old he walked away from us again & it has now been more than 17 months since she has seen him. I always told him that no matter what happened between us, I would not stop a relationship between him and my daughter provided he would be a constant in her life and not come & go when it was convenient for him.

He & I have not had any contact since the first week of January 2007.

I've talked to lawyers on the phone, but without retaining them I really have not gotten any answers. I don't have the money to pay a retaining fee.

I just want to know if I can get his parental rights removed & still receive child support. I feel his rights need to be removed with or w/o financial support, but the financial support would sure help.

Note: There has never been a court order in place. I did rcv $ sporadically between June '05 and Dec. '06, but only when he felt like it.
