They didn't make something they tried out for? My 5th grade son lost his bid for student council today and he wanted it really bad. He is terribly upset and takes it personally. To make it worse, he's upset because he was visably nervous.

I was looking on the bright side: He came in 2nd out of 6 PLUS He made student council last year and can't win every year. I just hate seeing him so sad. Is it best to let him just deal with it in his own way? He processes things pretty negatively some times.

The lady that signed me up was very uninformative. I feel overwhelmed with questions i couldn't think to ask and she's not contacting me until saturday to check on me. I feel she threw a book or two at me and said, ok run a business.. Is there anyone here who sells Avon and would be a mentor/guide for me till i can kinda get the hang of it? Thanks =) Also, im asking here because i figured alot of stay at home moms like myself may sell it as well.

biggest signs of pregnancy and how early would they come?? plus is there discharge when your pregnant or no? and does your cervix wall do anything differant ... i had sex with my bf the other day it felt diff. like i was "swollen" i guess its weird i cant explain the feeling it was just differant ... does that happen when your pregnant???

I already took him to the doc and she says that he has a little virus that is going around and I just have to let it run its course... Do you know of any old wives tales or anything natural that will help with his sore throat? I've only been giving him the infant Tylonol for the fever but that isn't helping his throat or cough. Oh and I'm using the humidifier.. Any suggestions?

I just had a small miscarriage of two weeks that it happen naturally I dindnt need that clean that they do.when this happen I did see a doctor and he told me to take it as period that it was normal this to happen. This happen to me two months ago and up to right now I havent gotten my period is this normal? I feel weak, dizzy,I feel small crampings like if I was gonna get my period but nothing I feel real bloated and I've had stomaches for the past week can somebody help me is this normal or do u think i can be pregnant again?

My son just called to tell me he stole a notebook from the school store. His friend yelled - better check him, he stole something. My son knows the person running the store (16 year old). He gave it back and she said it was ok. He know fears that someone who was there will tell on him (he saw her talking to the asst. principal right after the event). No phone call yet from the school but I am debating on what to do. (I'm a single mom doing a pretty good job thus far.) Appreciate any insight to a 12 year boy's mind! Thanks!

So, my daughter is starting to stand up on her own as long as she has a table or something to pull up from and hold on to. She's 11 months old. My wife and I are worried that she will be tempted to learn how to walk, and we are scared that she will fall down. How can I prevent her from attempting to walk until she is a little older, like at least four or five?

i just had a baby 4 weeks ago. throughout my pregnancy i gained 27lbs. ended up me having to get a c-section. The cut is a small horiziontal line right about my pubic bone. I have always been a smaller girl 5'3 130lbs. and now i feel like my stomach will never be the same. Ive been cut open and streched out i even had a few strech marks.... i guess my question being how did you get your body back into shape fast after a delivery?

My parents always tell me not to talk to people I don't know on the computer, but I don't have any REAL life friends becouse my parents don't let me go annywere. and I met two girls around my age (in our early teens) and I like them. we met on a fan website for a book. The person who made the website was the person who wrote the book. It is a teen book. And on the fan fictions page you can talk. and I met them and now we IM. I know it is a bad idea to meet your internet friends. and I don't give out personal information. The only things I give out are what City I live in, my age and my first name. Thats it.

I think I am being very safe. My parents don't know I'm talking to these girls

i have been trying to concieve for almost a year and no luck..i used a opk this month and had sex on all my fertile days...hoping im pregnant..
anyway,,, im due for my period on the 10th so i usually have PMS by now..but latley ive been really afectionate and emontional,,not usual for PMS week ..for me anyway..could this be a sign?

I was just wondering if I have gained too much weight or just enough. The doctors havent said anything about my weight at all. But my mother in law says I have gained way too much weight. But I would like someone elses opinon.
