I already took him to the doc and she says that he has a little virus that is going around and I just have to let it run its course... Do you know of any old wives tales or anything natural that will help with his sore throat? I've only been giving him the infant Tylonol for the fever but that isn't helping his throat or cough. Oh and I'm using the humidifier.. Any suggestions?

And that's safe for his age right? I know they say to stay away from some herbs ntil they are 2, that's why I haven't done the tea yet. Thanks

Just a question, but did he recently play in the leaves?

Anything warm will help his throat. Even warm water with lemon. Or warm broth. Cold things will help also, like some all fruit pops or something.

It shouldnt last more than 5 days, and all together the virus should run its course in 10.

It is so dang easy to get Best Answer with Sweet Pandy. Stand back yall . . I got this one:

Tequila! But make sure it is 100% Agave. . .none of that Jose Quervo garbage. . .Agave with the worm in it. Actually just eat the tequila worm.

Works for me . . 34% of the time. . everytime.

Then grab and invert the baby. . .
Saline spray, light fasting (yes fasting! we are the only animal in nature that eats while sick with a virus. don't feed a virus), and turn your bathroom into a steam room twice a day. . . put him on your shoulders and sing three rounds of Ol Macdonald while rotating and resting only when facing North while doing the animal sounds. . . continue with one I have been working on the railroad. . . one wheels on the bus (go up and down). . .one B-i-n-g-o (but sub the letters S-i-c-k-o) and finish with a North Eastern Tradional Whale Hunting Song.

By then he should have broken a sweat (increasing immunity) and be close to a nap.

I have cured myself and son with this remedy in less than 24 hours. on serveral occasions. I hope it works for you and your little bundle of germs . Salude~

Throat coat tea. It's caffeine free, and works wonders. Just make sure it's not too hot and they can have it right out of the sippy. Good luck!
