Yes, many women are waiting until they have a career and then raise children. More financially stable.
My wife and me had a son when she was 41. Had our own business and it worked out pretty good. Though there are some Doctor concerns, she went regular to her appointments, which where not many. The Baby had no problems, but, at 9 pounds 15 ounces we did have to have a c-section.

congratulations, it shouldnt matter how old u are, you are only as young as you feel and if u want kids now, than go for it...
im only 19yrs of age and 28wks pregnant with our first
im the most excited mother to be (i believe lol) nothing would change how i feel about my unborn baby and i would never do things differently...
my fiance and i planned to have children young only so we could get it all over and done with early to enjoy our retirement later on lol without children
i never for one minute wish i was older and im so happy to be doing things in life the way we are..
ALTHOUGH some life experiences and life changing moments are good for some people and than bad for others. its only what you want that matters, honestly.. i believe that you would be a very happy woman who knows exactly what she wants, when im still maturing as a young woman, things in my life will be a lot different to yours,.. you have had your career and probably own your own home.. where im just starting out and own nothing as of yet, although im still happy i will probably have to wait a little longer than you did as you didnt have children through them years.....

i know a woman that was over 50. She used another womans egg.. but they baby was just born and it was beautiful and healthy! You shouldn't care what others think it only matters how you feel about it.

your risks are going to be higher in your pregnancy but tons of people have had babies at your age so dont worry at all. just enjoy the fact that you are bringing a new life into the world.
