I smoked for the first couple of weeks (before I found out that I was) as soon as it was confirmed I quiet cold turkey and it was well,is hard but I am to scared to smoke now that I know that I am in fact with child I am going to ask the doc but do you guys think that everything will be fine well with the smoking part anyways.

My son is in the Air guard goes to a local junior college, he has struggles with grades and has taken many classes over. Our concerns are his choices with religion and moral choices. He has recently become very vocal insisting he is atheist most of school papers focus around this belief. He seems to be very promiscuous. He also is very anti government he constantly speaks badly about our government. He has started drinking and just recently I learned smoking dope. He doesn't do much to help at home. He eats the food when he is here and uses the "facilities" He also has medical issues of which he has decided he no longer wants to take the medication because it makes him feel bad when he drinks. My husband and I have spoken and we are going to ask him to move out, but we worry that he will quit school and his drinking and choices will just get worse. Help any suggestions?

My almost 6 month old (in 2 days) is now having rice cereal, formula, as well as breastfeeds at night and a few times during the day - she sort of "snacks" at the breast.

Even though she is getting some solids and formula now I am glad she is still interested in nursing. Am I still considered a nursing mom even if she only nurses once or twice a day? When people ask me if I'm still breastfeeding I say yes, but sometimes feel like a cheat because I don't mention the formula/solids. Can I still say "yes" or should I explain myself?

My son is almost 6 1/2 months old. I just recently purchaced an Avent sippy cup. It was rated for 6 mos and up. I offered it to him the other day, and he wanted nothing to do with it! I had put a little bit of dulited juice in it. Then i tried again with water, and then breast milk.
How do i start to teach him how to drink from the sippy cup??
What are some helpful tips that worked for you?
And do you have a sippy cup that you reccomend?

Im 30 weeks and today i've been getting alot of sharp pains on the side and middle of my stomach what is the reason?i don't go back to the doc for 2 weeks so can anyone tell me?


It almost feels like my stomach is to small and hes pulling in to make it bigger?it feels like this even when hes not kicking but i dont feel it all day? idk

I'm not sure what its gonna be so I guess you guys could give me a few for both, but I like names that are kinda different but nothing over the top. I hate names like hayden, landon, mckenzie, and those fad names...they just really aren't my thing, but if anyone has any good suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them.

My daughter is 13 months old and over the past couple days she has developed a severe diaper rash (is is around the actual butt area not the vaginal area)(Also she is teething) It is bright red and blistery and bleeding. I have taken her to the doctor for it before (3 times) and they don't seem to give me any help what so ever. So I decided to ask moms(or dads) what I can/should do to help her. All help will be greatly appreciated(my daughter is in terrible pain and crying almost non stop and she is normally a happy content baby. Thank you.

LOL i have a stupid question but im sure some of you moms have a solution so. Well since im still a teenager im still in school. But i also have a baby. So i go to a school for teen-parents. Anywho my question is how am i going to be able to carry my purse,diaper-bag, backpack & of course my daughter. Like i have my backpack for school, diaper bag for my girl, purse for my stuff & then of course my baby how can i carry all of this stuff ( well my daughters a human not stuff :)). Do you think i should put my stuff in my daughters diaper-bag? I know this is a stupid question but i just cant figure it out ( im really tired lol) Does anybody have a solution? Thanks :)

but I have never had a child and I am giving her a shower and creating her baby registry. Besides the obvious essentials(pampers, bottles, etc), what are some things I need to put on her registry that she will need as soon as the baby is born? We have 2 weeks before her shower and I only have about 18 items on the registry. Can you help me come up with items?

Jenny mention that if she has listen to her motherly instinct then she would have picked up austism in the earlier stages. My son will be one and I do not want to panic "what if it happens to him"? My step- daughters baby is due the1st of Oct. she went to the doctor today and is 75% efaced and 2c dialated.
The doctor also stripped her membrains. This is her first child.
