My step- daughters baby is due the1st of Oct. she went to the doctor today and is 75% efaced and 2c dialated.
The doctor also stripped her membrains. This is her first child.
when do you think she will have the baby, now that she no longer has a mucus plug. and can she have sex?

I'm due the day after her!! Although we all wish we could know exaclty when the baby is going to come, we don't. We can't predict it eaither. So, only time will tell.
So far as sex, no. She can actually get an infection. Play it safe and don't have sex. Trust me, it will all be worth it.

its always different for everyone...its her first baby could take a while even if the mucus plug was stripped. but you never know she might go quickly...you just never know with these things. now the sex part you might want to ask her doc but if the doc didnt say anything about it i dont see why not...but its different for everyone...have her call her doc up and ask him/her. good luck && congrats!!!!

I'd say it's really soon. And yeah, she can have sex, just be warned that it might possibly bring on labor b/c her body is so close to having the baby.
I'd say it's any day now.

I remember someone telling me that it could take about 48 hours once the membrane is stripped. She should be fine to have sex, I would encourge it. It can prevent induction.

It could happen anytime. I went about a week at 2 cm dialated. yes she can have sex but it may start labor so make sure she is ready for that!

the baby will come soon, but no one can tell you the day. But she can have sex as long as her water has not broken.

I believe she can have sex...up until her water breaks..after that NOTHING in the vagina! and probably any day now! good luck and congrats!
