She said she had sex twice that week on tuesday then that friday night and now on saturday moring she noticed the spotting! Then next thing she has her period! She says that she has a bit of stomach pain! Is it possible she could be pregnant!

We have a rather fussy (formerly colic) 5 month old, who already has a lot of stranger anxiety - she is very attached to mom and dad, and often screams after being held by someone else... frequently she is inconsolable...

There are many relatives and friends who seem to insist on holding her even if she is having a melt down. I think they seem to think that surely they can calm her down... when they cannot and I take her away to calm her, I feel really guilty! The comments are always - "it doesn't bother me if she is crying... but if it bothers you here you go." It makes me feel really dumb for wanting to help her stop crying, like it shouldn't bother me. But I know it is a mother's natural instinct to stop her baby from crying and I see no reason to have her scream incessantly and work herself into a tizzy.

What's the deal with people not wanting to let go of crying babies after a couple minutes, unless prodded by the mother? Suggestions in dealing with this?

Got pregnant. Guy is being a jerk. I'm successful in my own right at work and proud that I'm almost 30 and pregnant. I find myself getting very depressed thinking how I'm going to pull everything together in the next 4 1/2 months.

With my first boyfriend (for four years) we never used protection and I never got pregnant. He always pulled out.

My current boyfriend (for the past year) is the same. He only pulls out. We dont use protection.

Why dont I ever get pregnant?

I found out that the condom I've been using are expired for a year. So I told my girl friend and she said she may have missed her period. I am starting to freak out. She is going to take HPT soon. But just in case. Is there any other way to stop early pregnency than abortion? Abortion is not an option for me. It has been a month since I started to have sex with her.

This is my 4th pregnancy but I don't remember feeling hungry all the time until my last trimester. On the other hand with my other pregnancies I had horrible morning sickness (more like morning, noon and night!) almost the whole nine months.
I am only a few weeks along and I'm going for another doctor visit tomorrow, but has anyone else experienced this so early in their pregnancy?

My 9-month-old son son does almost every time. For every nap, and especially at bedtime. Am I wrong in not making him falling asleep on his own? He just falls asleep after eating and I see no sense in waking him up to them put him back to sleep. I'm looking for input/advice from moms nursing moms... Did you ladies put your babies to sleep by nursing? And was this hard to break when you decided to wean?

My gf and I just stared having sex. She lost her virginity to me, about fifteen days ago, she was suppose to have her period at the end of last week, so that makes her about a week late, she is totally paranoid, and stressed. Even when we started we stopped, cause she was it hurt (had a condom) and them tried another time. A couple days later we started without a condom for about less than thirty sec(same case for a few other times). My other worry is that we have been going at it (with a condom) for a long time, we have been ranging from one hour to about two (maybe two and half), is a condom made to last for intercourse for that long? She has "finished" a couple of times, but i did not switch to a new one every time, was/is that a mistake (i only come in a condom and i have pulled out with it on just in case of a rip)? I know its allot of questions but please try to answers!!

My baby, 18 days old, has been up since 4pm.. its now almost 11.. the only way that she will sleep is on her belly.. is it really "bad" for an infant to sleep on their bellies? btw i am watching her so there is no risk atm but if i were to put her to bed like this, when i go to bed is it bad.. i mean when i was a baby i slept on my belly.. so im wondering if there is a real harm in letting her sleep on her belly other than people say not to.. ty in advance for answers

Im 22 yrs old and trying to concieve but 7 months I found out after I had sugery that I had a cyst on my ovarie so it was stoppping me from havin a baby but my ob has been givin me some pill to help me concieve well this month my breast were tender all last week and then Saturday late afternoon I noticed I was havin some really bad cramps, never had them this bad well I noticed that i had gotten my period not heavy like it normally is on day 1 so then Sunday I had cramps kinda of bad and a pretty light period. Well Monday I woke up and there was no blood at all just a lil streak of brown discharge and the same as today and I never had a 1 day and a 1/2 period. Could this be implantation bleeding?Could I be pregnant? Breats arent tender anymore tho too.

Maybe I'm overprotective but I'm not gonna give my kids gum until they are over 7 at least. We watch a 2yo litle boy and his mom gives him gum!!! Every time he chews it for like 30mins then he swollows it. Then she gives him more!!! He always swollows it, but she is not the least bit concerned. He comes to us at 8:00 am with Gum already. We have told her that the kids cannot have gum here so he has him spit it out when she brings him but he screams for it after for like 30mins. Its almost like she doesnt want to listen to him cry for it so she gives it to him and makes us deal with it after she leaves him. The no gum rule has been in effect for like 4 year now. We are not gonna change the rules for him, How would you handle this?
