is it going to be short for Alexander or just Xander? i kinda like it but as a nickname for Alexander.

Ithink Xander is a nice name, but that Alexander goes better with Tyler and Connor. You can always call him Xander, too.

The people down the road have twins and ones name is Xander. I think it's cute.

I agree with the others that suggested you name your son Alexander, and then call him Xander for short.

No. I dont like the name Xander, and it doesnt go with the boys names you have already....its a completely different style and you want them to all sound like brothers....something like Caleb, Jacob, Jackson, Jamison, Austin, Travis, Carter, Dylan would go.....just some other suggestions.
Just read the above answers and I have something to add...I think choosing Alexander is a great choice! and call him Xander for short (that way you still get your way with Xander since you like that) but Alexander is so much better to have as his full name, and it goes better with your other two sons names.

Personally I love the name Xander because it's different and sounds strong.
However, have you considered how your son may feel when it takes him twice as long to learn to spell his name? Or when he has to spell his name every time someone asks for it? Or the teasing he may have to endure for having a different name?
Don't forget being a child can be difficult enough without being lumbered with a name that is unusual.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! I think it would sound great with the other kids' names. Conner Tyler and Xander Sounds GREAT!!!!

Hmm, it's a hard one. I like the spelling Zander better.
I have 2 boys too, Connor and Blayke. I am trying to get a third boy name too. I really like the name Zayden.
