me and my bf really, really want a baby... we've talked about it for months, thought everything through and have decided that we're ready. The only thing stopping me is that i know my mum will dislike it if i was to fall pregnant i've mentioned it to her alot lately and sh has expressed that she doesn't like the idea. i don't want to dissapoint her but i also don't want to dissapoint my boyf as he really has his hopes up about having a baby together!

If i was to become pregnant, how should i deal with telling my parents?

i'm 19 years old, my boyf is 22. i'm a uni student and attend uni 1 full day and 2 afternoons a week.

My daughter just turned 7 two weeks ago. She moves like molasses in winter aaaaallllll the time! I need some fun and creative ways to get her moving fast in the morning so I don't end up sounding like a drill sargent! Also she is a very heavy sleeper so I have to wake her up myself since she sleeps right through an alarm and I have to remain awake to make sure she is still moving toward getting ready for school. If I wake her up early to give her more time and go back to sleep, I will find her in the same position on the end of her bed and she will be like "sorry mom i blanked out"! I don't want to have to get up an hour early myself just cause she is so slow and I don't want to have to follow behind her all morning either but I don't know what else to do. I have tried reward charts and that didnt work (although we use them for a lot of other things and they work great). Any suggestions? Advice?

Parenting a toddler, especially one that cannot efficiently communicate verbally yet, can be extremely difficult. Though they are still our precious babies, we need to make sure that they are learning what behaviors are right, and what are wrong. Besides positively reinforcing good behavior, what do you do to make sure that your little one is becoming a respectful, loving child?

Hey, I've been taking my temps. My temp was still high this morning. Could that mean that my period won't come today. Doesn't your temp usually go down right before your period is coming? My period usually comes in the morning time, so I figured it wasn't coming today if I had a high temp this morning when I woke up. Thanks for your advice.

i was giving a list at the doctor but now i can't find it. LOL I am 28 weeks pregnant and keep getting really bad heart burn and indigestion. i have taken roliads and it seemed like they give the dang indigestion. then i heard that a teaspoon of vinager would help with indigestion and it just came right back up. i want to know if there is anything that is safe to take before calling the doctor for a presciption like alkasleker or anything over the counter?

My wife is a Type2 diabetec and she's on some type of medication to help get certain levels down. Anyway, a side effect is birth control and that's not the main reason why she was perscribed these pills. Sometimes it's frustrating for me because I know we'll have sex without a legitimate chance of her getting pregnant. I guess what I want to know is it possible for her to get pregnant even if she's on these pills? Thanks!

I read alot of the questions on here where people say their mums treat them like sh1t, put them down etc and I just wondered why the hell these type of women have kids at all!!

My mum can be a nasty piece of work at times and can be really hurtful and non supportive, but I can remember her being like this when I was alot younger and as result I am now like a mother to my 4 younger brothers as she was the same with them!

I am a mum and my daughter is the most importnant thing ever to me - I want her to do well in life and will do anything to make sure she reaches her goals......plus I still have 4 surrogate sons!!

Why are some mums like this???

my milk supply is decreasing more and more. right now my baby is 1 and im guessing she's weaning off herself. so do i give her whole milk from a sippy or something? i feel like that is gonna be hard because she doesn't use a bottle and she's picky.

thanks for ur responces, did try a test but waws negative, the waiting game is horrible. i have bled slightly but you wouldnt notice unless you actually examined if you know what i mean so mayb was that implantation?

Let me start off by saying I KNOW your not doctors im just looking for someone w/ some experience !!

I was laying in bed last night and I was having the weirdest feeling in my stomach ever, Ive NEVER experienced it, it DID NOT feel like cramps or gas, it was something completely different, it was in the middle of my stomach it was just a really weird feeling, I am now 5 days late for my period and those little bumps around your areola have no multiplied, my left nipple is sore and I have been nauseated, dizzy and have been have heartburn, also been very fatigued, But i took a pregnancy test and it was Neg. Could I be pregnant ??

I'm going to have blood taken to confirm or deny pregnancy because I have been so sick today at 4:30. The phone nurse said that it could take a day or two before the results are in, unless they send me to the hospital to get a stat blood test. Why does it take so long?

Is it just me! I can really understand people posting questions on here and gathering information regarding certain subjects, even seeking advice when there in a tricky situation - ie guidance on relationships etc but for gods sake why do so many people ask silly questions like " i think i'm having a miscarrige right now what should i do"??? Isnt that a bit like saying, "my baby just got run over by a 4 x 4 - what should i do? This sort of question is over a matter of life and death!!
Is it just me being picky lol x

I had EXTREME fatigue during weeks 9-13 of my pregnancy
On week 14 it had gone away, my energy was back!
Now I am on week 16 since yesterday and I am sluggish again, severely.
Is this normal?

With my first son I was induced as my membranes had ruptured but nothing else happened for 2 days.After being induced I found the contractions unbearable even with gas and air and pethidine.I have heard that induced labours can be more painful that a labour that has started naturally. I would really appreciate some information from woman who have had an induced labour and a naturally started labour and how they differered.Also has anybody had an epidural or an epidural where you can still walk, your experience,thoughts and feelings would be much appreciated. I know that what ever pain I have to go through it will be worth it in the end. Im 22 weeks pregnant today whhhooooooooooo, but just very scared of the labour.Thank you
