Yes, my son started his education in private school.

I removed him because his teacher was just SO bad... she was entirely unqualified to teach young children. She was a wreck.

This is not a condemnation of all private schools, but in our experience, that particular school was not a good fit.

He is in public school now and doing quite well. I'm impressed.

I was always very anti-public schools and pro-private schools until this experience.

I went to private school and it was horrible i got out of there as soon as possible.I will never send my kids to private school. What I find funny is most of the people i know who went to private school ended up being drug dealers, truck drivers or working on the mines.Think of all that money there parents spent and for what? My school actually sent all the dumb kids elsewhere to do there year 12 exams so the the school got higher exam results i'm not joking they got found out and were on the news. They also didn't let the kids dance at there formal and had a 10cm rule between girls and boys you couldn't even give a male friend a hug without getting in trouble.

My mom took me out of private school for a year and completely regreted it. She immediately put me back in private school the following year. Which was ok. I really didn't mind. It was nice not having to figure out what to wear in the morning. but still didn't like the uniforms. I think private school did me some good.

I have never had my kids in private school.

My personal feelings is that the kids need to interact
with all types of people - rich, poor, any race, religion etc.

The parents i know with kids in private school all seem
to have the same 20 kids in the same class year after year.

How are they going to learn to get along with people with different backgrounds or ideas.

Just my opion - the school education may be better but i am
not sure about the people skills they will learn.

Ya... so many parents transfered there child from privae School to a public Scholl. Wanna know why? Well, money matters.. In my childhood I was been in Public School then transfered to a Private School, then after 3 years I was tranfered again to a Public School since my parents was financially handicafed that time. But it doesn't matter to me, what matters most is that I was able to continue my school.

my best friend was taken out of Private school, because she was acually teaching the class instead of the teacher. The teacher was constantly asking her how to say this, or solve this problem. Her parents saw a problem then, when her report card turned out an F, because she missed the one project that the teacher had them do, because the teacher suddenly moved up the due date on the project and because she was sick for 2 weeks and gone, she never found out, thus the F. So her parents were so ticked they took her out. The education was basically crap. They found that homeschooling was much better.

private schools do not have to do background checks on employees, just teachers, so the janitor or cafeteria worker could be a child sex offender, like catholic church.

Priavte schools are worse than public, they have more sex, drugs, and bad influences. I know from personal experience.
