You can take two. No problem. Just don't exceed the recommended dosage on the bottle without medical supervision (sometimes higher dosages will be recommended to break a high fever)...that goes for anyone, pregnant or not.

So you took 10 extra strength tylenol all at once. And, it has 500mg of tylenol in each tab. There is no way that you took that much because if you did you would be in serious trouble. Your breathing would slow down and your heart rate would go down and you would be calling the ambulance to come and take you to the hospital. But, if you did and you got through it I would go to the local hospital now and tell them what you did and tell them that you overdosed on tylenol and get some help also! Good Luck!

You're fine. at 4 1/2 weeks the embryo is still living of a yolk sac, and doesnt share your blood for another 4 weeks or so when the placenta is formed and functional.
The best thing you can do for yourself right now is to throw away all your extra strength tylenol and go out and buy the regular, then you can take two.
You dont want more than 650 ml in one dose, thats two regular pills.

All I take is two extra strength Tylenol. It barely works. I also don't take it for anything but the worst of pains. Just always try to take no more than neccesary in any case. If it will take two then that's what you need to do, if one may work then try that. Don't spend a day in misery because you're afraid of something so simple. Congratulations and best of luck

I took two extra strength Tylenol gel caps throughout my pregnancy when I needed them (never exceeding the recommended dose). My daughter is fine. As long as you follow the correct dosing recommendations, extra strength Tylenol is perfectly OK. Stop worrying.

My doctor told me that two extra strength Tylenol was fine. Just so long as you follow the dosing instructions on the package, you will be fine.

oh that's fine! my doctor said to take the normal dosage of extra strength Tylenol. it won't hurt you. i get migraines and my doctor even told me i could take Excedrin and that has aspirin in it! I'm not telling you that's OK, of course you should ask your doctor about that first but just showing you that your safe.
