i wouldnt call you a 'bad' mom.. you just need to watch your baby more carefully..

Not a bad mum, our baby fell off the bed a few times from 6 months, after the first time i put lots of pillows around the edge & she thought it was fun ( we don't have a high bed)

Your not being realistic if you think you can prevent any bumps & falls. My baby has knocks everyday from falling over, climbing & falling off furniture but shes never had so much as a bruise, its just normal rough n tumble, & healthy for a baby to learn that if they don't balance, they'll fall & it'll hurt lol

I think i'd be suspicious of a mum who think she's perfect.
The best mother i know is my mother in law, she is my mentor & if i can do half a good job as her i'll be proud. And she has admitted that both her boys had lots of accidents such as falling off the kitchen worktop at a few months old & falling off the back seat of the car on the way home from hospital as a newborn & many more. Don't forget as new mums were not used to looking out for anyone other than ourselves so its a learning curve for us too, yes my baby fell off the bed, she is 10 months & has never fell off since - learnt my lesson (that makes you a good mum). Good luck!

You need to be more mindful of safety. The number one cause of injuries in children is falls. Your child could get a serious injury.

Falling off the bed three times is a lot. You would benefit from a home safety evaluation and fall prevention instruction. Ask your pediatrician for information regarding home safety and falls prevention.

Good or bad should not be a concern, just protect your baby and be happy.

Accident's do happen however, maybe it's time that you invest some money/ time for some proper safety equipment if you leave your child alone in a bed... Maybe a bed rail or a crib mattress on the floor would be a better option or even having him/her sleep in a crib? To prevent falls... I mean it is your child why would you let he/she fall out of bed?

Babies fall down, babies can bump their heads, it does not make you irresponsible or a bad parent. If you are taking all the necessary precautions you are doing fine. It's normal for kids to be curious and "floppy headed" as I put it, they don't know how to completely manage their own body weight yet. My son has fallen once (almost twice) and he is 6 months old and just learned how to stand up. It's doesn't make you a bad person just take extra precautions.

Not a bad mom but you definitely need to put the baby in the crib to sleep or if you need to step away for a minute. He/she is obviously moving around a lot so you need to be more careful and keep a good eye out!

I don't think you are a bad mom but you really need to keep a better eye on your baby.I mean a bed is to high for them and they roll at this age.

how intense is your mattress? if it replaced right into a quite intense fall then i'd only pass ahead and talk to her wellbeing care professional only to confirm if he or she might want to need to analyze your infant out. if she's performing known and also you do not see any bumps and stuff i imagine she might want to correctly be nice. yet i'd only call to be on the secure aspect. even as my infant replaced into 5 months old she rolled off the mattress. yet my mattress replaced into in worry-free words like a million foot off the floor (it really is only the mattress on the floor) so it wasn't a large fall and he or she landed on her aspect with the blankets on carpet and he or she cried when I picked her up. i imagine she cried no longer because it damage besides the undeniable fact that the scare of her falling. she replaced into completely nice without bumps or something and a pair of minutes after that she replaced into giggling and shifting round everywhere back. i understand how you felt and that i could not forgive myself. yet you understand it occurs to the better persons. regrettably my youngster did it two times back. once at 11 months old yet same state of affairs yet she did not cry she type of laughed it off. and once back at 16 months old and this time the mattress replaced into larger onto timber floor yet she landed on her aspect back and he or she replaced into nice even as she were given up. she's completely nice and healthful now. no damaged bones and no extraordinary progression topics. this also take position to my aunts infant at 7 months old and he rolled off the mattress too and were given a bruise yet different that perfectly nice. and it take position to my co-workers son at 8 months old besides the undeniable fact that the adverse little guy had a fracture on his leg which the wellbeing care professional reported replaced into minor and it might want to probable heal by utilizing itself. once those infant commence shifting it receives extra sturdy. so don't experience undesirable....after the first time i reported i replaced into never going enable it take position yet that one 2d i turn round and strengthen she's on the floor. my pillow and blanket baracades curiously did not paintings.
