The instructions should tell you how early there brand detects your LH surge. If not most ovulation test detect about 24 to 78 hours before. Do not wait to long, its best to inseminate before AND during ovulation. The sperm can live inside of you for DAYS. The egg on the other hand, once it drops it has 24hours to be fertilized.

I am not too familiar with the kits but the one I used, I was under the impression that it sort of gives you a heads up that you will be ovulating within the next 24 hours (I think). If you test tomorrow and it isn't positive then that is the day you should be "doin it" (lol). If tomorrow is positive as well then I would wait until the following day to do it. Does that make sense? I got real confused but always made sure that we did it the day after the positive result. Make sure you read the back of the box to make sure your kit is similar to the one I am describing.

Tonight, tomorrow, the night after...
If you have been at this a while, then every other night is the better approach.

The more you do it the weaker you make the sperm so don't go overboard.
