A pediatrician is a medical doctor that specializes in infants and children's medicine. To become one, you have to become a medical doctor. College = four years; Medical school = four years; Pediatrics internship = 1 year; Pediatrics residency = two years...so eight years of college and three years of "on the job training" and you're a pediatrician.
Like all doctors, they make a lot of money...$120 K per year would be on the low end, could be much higher depending on location and whether you work for yourself, for a clinic, or for a larger practice.
Working hours...typically 50 or so per week...many work a four-day schedule, some work fewer hours for less money.

A pediatrician is a doctor that specializes in the care of infants and children.
To become one, you will have to get an appropriate education. This is four years of college (Pre-Med), four years of Med school, and then additional training in child medicine.
You are looking at approximatley 10 years of schooling, beyond the high school level.
Their income will vary depending on their employment-private practice, group practice, in a hospital setting? Their hours will also vary, I have heard of some pediatricians that work evenings and weekends only-they are popular because so many parents work and between their schedule and the pediatrician's hours it is difficult to get into a normal office.
I hope this helps!

Spelling, regardless of which of the 2 occupations you decide upon, and by and large extra so in case you want to be a legal professional, is predominant. Paediatrician, Whether, Australia, Foreign, Your. These are the proper spellings, or even I recognise that as English is my identical first language (English and Cambodian) plus French as my moment language. Yes, Americans use the spelling that leaves out the "a" and hence the phrase turns into faulty because it will have to check with a "leg surgeon" ( the Greek origins -- PED = leg and IATROS is Doctor or Healer. The PAED comes from PAIS which means that little one).
