My cousin is having a baby girl and she has the name picked out already...Piper Meri(pronounced Marie, Meri is her moms first name pronounced Mary). It's not my style of a name but I think it's really pretty. Anyone else think it's a pretty name?

I love the name Piper Meri, it is a beautiful name! I'm not really sure about the spelling of the middle name. I like Piper Marie better, but if it is her mother's name, it works. Have a great day!!!

I love the name Piper, and I like that she's sticking with a family thing... but why is she changing the way i t's pronounced? I don't like that. If she wants it to be pronounced like Marie spell it "Marie". Especially if it's her mother's name and it's pronounced differently.
That's kind of weird to me. But either way... it's a pretty name.

I quite like the name Piper actually. Its cute! don't know about the middle name though. I just get Merry from it not Mary.
i would consider it for my baby.

I think it's adorable.
Piper is scottish, for bagpiper, and the Marie makes it more feminine.
I think that it's not my style either, but I'll bet it's great for your cousin!
