my baby is 10 months old now and i am trying to get him off the baby jar foods but sometimes its hard to prepare a meal every 3 hours so i buy the convenient jar foods. Are these any good for my baby? Are they healthy? And will they cause any problems for my babies eating habits in later life? Also any suggestions for baby meals i can make for him?

I've been struggling for the last three months.
My wife died in childbirth. I'm left to bring up our daughter, Scarlett. I love her to pieces and want to give her the best possible chances in life. I work night shifts as a paramedic and she is in child - care a lot. I've never had a child before, but I know the basics, I just need a bit of advice on the best nappies and bottles and stuff.
I would be very thankful. :-)

my daughter just turned 14 months old she drinks milk juice and water from a cup just fine until it is time to go to sleep she will not take her cup she cries for hours until i give her the bottle any suggestions please help

For a week now my 6 month old had dribbled constantly had a continuosly runny nose and now has diarrhea ! He does 3 poos a day and they are all very runny. When I started weeing him we were getting solid cow- pat like poos, and now they have changed. I have taken him to the GP who was little help and said it was teething ! Do I need to cut down on weening foods for a while ? Is there anything I can give him to help regain his normal poos ? How long will this go on for ? His little bum looks so sore !

A 13-year old (Jill) stumbled on her mom's email when she went on the computer. Her parents are have been divorced since Jill was around 6 and has been living with her father. She saw that her mom is apparently pregnant at 42 with a man who is already married with a son. Also, Jill's father's wife just moved in to her house. I am a single mom of 4 kids, I have 3 jobs, and I am a full time nursing student! My house is trashed and unorganized. we lose everything and we are always late. My kids don't mind. and I don't always follow through I know my weaknesses I just need help on how to fix them. I need a jump start to get me going down the right path. When I ask my friends what to do they spend 3 hrs telling me what i'm doning wrong, and why its wrong. I know this but how can I fix them??

In the last 6 yrs, I have had to fire two attourneys for misrepresentation and unethical conduct ect; since then I have done countless months days and hours of legal research. My situation has forced me to represent myself in court to revise my parenting order so my X cannot keep me from seeing my daughter. What I've learned is that our legal system ect; is failing to do what is in the best interest of the child ect;. The fact is that I am doing everything in my power to have (court ordered) visitation time with her. Thousands of dollars I've spent on greedy, deadbeat attourneys leaving me broke with little result has made me realise that I'm better off representing myself in court. Not only because I have little money but obviesly I would be the fool to "take a loan out to hire another one." Besides the fact that it states in the modification papers you get from the courthouse, (the ones you use to file a motion with the court...) that you CAN represent yourself in court.....

My son is 16 months and I feel that he is not doing everything he should. I know that boys take longer on somethings. I Have ADHD and I think that he might end up having it also. He is hyper all the time. He can't concentrate on just one thing. I know babies wonder about everything but he has a very short attention span. I give him a toy (which he don't even like toys like pot's pans, shoes, papers, etc) and he can't even keep focused for like a few seconds. I try to read to him but he won't let me I can't even get threw a Sentance without him wanting to get down. He only says a few words. Mama, dada, Josh, Yes, No, Bye bye. He tried to say others but can't get them. They say at his age you should start to learn where your nose is or ears. He won't learn that. I just feel as if he is behind in his age. Is there any idea's anyone has that can help me? I read today while he ate in his highchair. That seem to work think cause he actually had nowhere to go.lol But if anyone could help plz

Do you think there are too many people who don't put themselves in their child's shoes when picking out names?

Why do parents pick names that are hard to pronounce?

Or why do they pick common and easy to pronounce names but then change the spelling?

Do you think there aren't enough parents out there who take in to consideration that it gets very annoying having to pronounce your name for everyone? Or that it gets annoying having to spell your name for everyone?

Or maybe they just don't care--as long as it sounds good?

I broke up with my ex about 7 months ago and my son lives at his house, cause I live in an apartment and want my son to have a house...I see him daily though so Im always there...he will be 3 in december..the thing is m not in love with his dad nor do I have any romantic feelings for him, but I dont want my son to hate me either later in life...what should I do, I shoudl also say Iam currently with a great guy who i do love, but I am worried about my kid.
