First of all, Congrats! You'll want to take the classes around 6 or 7 months, typically. Just make sure the last class is done before you're 38 weeks, in case you have your little one early. They're great for first time moms and dads (and even as a refresher course for 2nd time moms and dads) Also, if you're planning to breastfeed (even if you're just thinking about it) take a breastfeeding class, they're really informative and have other info, too, not just breastfeeding. Good luck. You'll really enjoy the classes, and it's fun to meet other mom's who are expecting around the same time as you! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy, it'll go fast!

The hospital scheduled me when I had 4 or 5 weeks left of my pregnancy but big mistake because I had my baby early so I didn't even get to go the classes so I would schedule them for your 7th month that way you won't forget
good luck and congrats!!!

The sooner the better. I think I started my class when I was 3 months or so and it ended when I was about 5 or 5 1/2. My instructor ended up being my doula, too. It gives you the chance to hear about things in the class and prepare yourself. I loved my class...I hope you do too.
Good Luck and congrats!!!

It depends upon which type of class you are going to take. Lamaze classes are started later than Bradley classes. Some Bradley classes are started as early as 14 weeks. Bradley classes have more sessions.

call the class instructor, find out when they are holding classes, see if you can start going at about 32-34 weeks. When I went it was from 32-38 weeks. It was a 5 week class with one week off for a holiday.

Anytime now is a perfect time to take them - you can't take them too early ...read lots of books and articles on the Internet too - but if you read something catches your eye or causes you to worry check with your doctor about it..
knowledge is power
Good luck

you need to do the foot work. Waiting for someone to let you know what to do is a bad idea. This is your life, And your baby get on top of things and make it happen. I know I'm a jerk and u don't like me but, I believe in you.
Your going to be a great mom!
