my daughter is 12, and sucking her thumb!

This happened several years ago well 6 when my husband was married to his first wife. He was in the Navy, and our daughter was 9 months old. And his wife was extremly jealous taht he had a child with someone before her and said she would make sure that he wasn't around me or her again. He gets back from tour and his wife supposedly finds out she is pregnant with his child a week later.
Then the child is born 2 months early and weighed 9 pounds. Thats a big premie huh? Not to mention that during in labour, they broke her water.
Has anyone else heard of this, a woman going into labour that early and instead of stopping the labour they break her water and a 2 month early baby weighing nine pounds.
They divorced a few years later and we got married.

Anyway I think my husband got suckered into having to raise a child that isn't his. The worst part is he is stuck paying child support and hardly gets to see the child.

If a paternity test is ordered will it do anygood?

My husband and I are trying to come up with a cute name for our baby. He already has two children named Abbie and Harry, so we are wanting a name which is similar, a name that can't be shortened and a name that is well known, but not really that popular.
We have picked Issac James for a boy but we are stuck for a girls name: the names that we like are becomming really popular such as Darcey, Eve and Grace and we are wanting something that isnt too popular! - Difficult - i know!!!!.

Our surname is Willoughby.

Abraham Benjamin Rhodes (Rhodes is the last name)

We will call him AB at home by his intials, but in school he will be called Abraham.

What do you think of it? If you want to be rude then please don't answer.
Thanks in advance.

I am a father of four. I have an 8yo boy whose social behaviour used to deteriorate after watching a lot of PG and mild M rated movies. After a suggestion that the behaviour was a result of this, we banned him from anything above a G rating, with PG movies monitored by us first. His reward for not kicking up a fuss about it was that, as all the new-release kids movies became available on DVD, we would buy them for him.
The change in his behaviour has been astounding!

My question is this, how many parents out there use the ratings systems with there kids?
And if you don't, why not?
