My husband and I are going to try to get pregnant within this year and beginning of next year. I was wondering if there are tips from those who have been there about taking care of myself before I get pregnant. I already started pre natal vitamins, what else can I do to be healthy before we even start trying.

ok i'm really wanting to move from the trailer parks to the city nearby but my 2 daughters(13 and 8) don't want to move because they enjoy living at the trailer parks. the city is like 30 miles away as well. my daughter really do seem to enjoy it here and have alot of friends here but i'm really wanting to move into a bigger place and the closest place to here and the city about 30 miles away but i also don't want to hurt them. what should i do?

How old was your baby when he/she began to sit in the shopping cart seat? I just got my daughter a new car seat that stays in the car b/c she's too big for her infant car seat. She's only 4 months old (and weighs almost 19 pounds) so she can't sit unassisted yet. I don't mind doing the baby carrier thing, but in a few weeks she's going to be way too big for that. She sits fairly straight up but not for too long.

When did you kids start sitting in the shopping cart?

Headstart is for lower income people. The only reason we got our son in was because my husband was in Iraq last year and most of his income was not taxable. They go by your taxable income. I like the headstart because it is so close to our house. I drive a nice car and dress my kids in nice clothes for school. (casual, jeans, tshirt, etc.) But my son came home yesterday and said a boy named Tanner said "your mommy is spoiled and so are you". I don't think kids think that way on their own, I believe he has heard his mommy say that. Should I say anything or just let it go? I thought I was doing the right thing by getting my son new school clothes. Was I wrong? My son is a very kind person. He is never mean to anyone, and gets along with others well. Why should he be made fun of because he has nice things? We don't flaunt anything. It's not like we are rich.

Is it possible to have a miscarriage when you're only one week pregnant? I heard that when you concieve youre two weeks pregnant. One website said that when you're one week pregnant, you are on your last period for another nine months, ( the period before your pregnancy starts). Another website aid when you're one week pregnant, the egg is traveling through the Fallopian tube. Can you lose the egg that is traveling? Is it possible to miscarry that early?

The Dr. says my baby looks about 8 pounds right now. I am 38 weeks. This give me a potential of a 10 pounder. I am not excited about pushing that out. Make me feel better, how big of a baby did you push out? Bonus points for not having an epidural as well!!!

ok so here is what happened. i have 3 kids. 7,12,14, so me and my husband went out with some friends, and my oldest son had a friend over to help him watch his younger brothers. when we got home, my youngest was locked in the bathroom and the middle child was duct taped to a chair.

what would you do if it was your son, would you punish him.
should i call his friend's mom, or just let it go?
and how do we get the duct tape off of my other son, because they took his shirt off first, and its stuck to his bare skin.

I want the Graco Alano travel system. The cheapest place I've found it so far is Walmart for $148-shipped free to store or at babycenter.com for $153 shipped free to home. I tried to find Graco's website, figured it'd be cheaper from the manufacturer, but I can't find their official site. I'll pay the $153 if I can't find a cheaper 1, because it's definately the 1 I want, but if I can get it cheaper, that'd be great. Thanks in advance for any answers:)

I'm pregnant and my husband & I already have one daughter, Tessa Rose. I'm now pregnant again with another little girl and we're looking for name suggestions. We've narrowed it down to either:
Teagan Lily
Trinity Sage
Tara Lily
Talia Sage
or Torie Sage.

Which of those is your favorite? And please don't critisize me because of our choices. Also, we are welcome to more suggestions but the first name must start with a "T" and the middle name must be a 'thing'. Ex: Lily, Sage, Skye, Dahlia, Violet, Scarlett, etc.

why do women risk their own health to prevent haveing a baby, i can understand some situations but i do not think all the women that are on the pill are realy taking it because they NEED to. if anyone has seen the mad tv skit on the birth control pill i think they used yaz in the skit this is the kind of thing i am refuring to. i know it wont literaly do that to your body but you risk an awefull lot on your health when you take the pill, why do women take it anyway?? there might be something i am missing.
