go to the dr. pain that early could be a sing of trouble.

If it is just light cramps though don't be alarmed, your ligaments are stretching and will contiue to do so through out your whole pregnancy.

I had that too, actually with all three pregnancies I think. I was all worried, especially since my first child, the doctor stuck his hand inside and said I didn't feel pregnant(my uterus). I knew I was so I wondered if it was tubal as well. I went in for an ultrasound shortly after and found out I have a retroverted uterus, which is why it didn't feel pregnant. When I told my doctors about it, non of them were concerned. One told me that it is possible to get that pain where there was implantation. Where the baby grabs onto the wall, you can get some pain there. Still, it doesn't hurt to have it checked out, but I did get that pain (and do when I ovulate) and all is well here.

Could be... this is weird but I think I remember reading somewhere that if you have shoulder pain with it that it is more than likely a tubal.. Okay yes I just looked it up.. Below is a passage from a medical website.. I will also include the link..

It could possibly be a tubal pregnancy. You need to go and get it checked by the doctor immediately.

get checked out. at 5 weeks there should a gestational sac and a yolk sac, i have had that in all 4 pregnancies. im surprised the doctor did not test you for an ectopic

I don't want to say that too scare you.. but it can be so many things ,and that can be 1 of them ..also it could be a lack of water..please! we are not doctors on her..and if their is their not your physician,its best you go to the doctor..it could be something small or major ..or nothing at all...good luck and take care of you self and child.
