I'm 13, and I have never been able to figure out what job I'm going to have after college. I don't want to be a surgeon or a nurse, but I now have my heart set on being a paramedic! My mom TOTALLY disapproves, because her cousin was one and got shot because he was working in a bad area [he's ok now, not dead..] I know it doesn't matter what area I work in because I want to help people. How do I get it across to my mom that its all I want to be?

So a couple weeks ago the condom broke and it was pretty close to when my period ended so stupidly i didnt bother getting a morning after pill. So..now my period is 4 days late and i think its been pretty exact for the last few months and never off by days...so im worried..but i think it is too soon to take a test..im young, still in highschool but my boyfriend is in college. I dont know if i could ever get an abortion but at the same time how could i have a child right now? What are the chances that i could be pregnant because i know it isnt that easy to get pregnant and there is pretty much only one week out of the month that you have a high chance of getting preg...my period has been late before though so im trying not to worry so much but what do u guys think i should do? is it too soon to take a test? i just would appreciate any kind of advice or help.

I live in New York, my baby is now 2 months old, I have to return to work but I can seem to find a solution for child care because I work till 7:00 pm and most day care close at 6:00.

I am due in October, and I am having twins, believe it or not! It will be a boy and a girl, and want to give them unique names, but the thing is, with the boy name, I really like the name Landon James. I already have an older son named, Skyden Mitchell, so these are the names I was thinking about:

I started potty training her when she was 2 1/2, and it was almost a battle at first. She showed all the signs of being ready, and about 3 months later she seemed to get it and was doing great! We did the stickers, gave her books to read, and even resorted to candy at times. It got to the point where she would either tell us she had to go potty or got up herself and ran into the bathroom.

Recently (past week or so) she had totally regressed and I find her wet a few times a day. She is perfectly potty trained at day care, but once the weekend hits and she's at home, she pees (and even pooped) in her underwear. I am at my wits end! I hate to put her in Pull-ups or back in diapers again, but I am so frustrated. She will be 3 later this week. What am I doing wrong??

Ok, try to follow me here.

My great grandmother gave birth to two girls and one boy.

That one boy gave birth to my grandmother and one other girl.

My grandmother gave birth to my mother and my mother had me and my two sisters. (My mom miscarried twice before having me and my sister, and the two babies were both girls)

Almost all the second and third cousins on my moms side of the family are girls.

So are all these girls a big coincidence or is it in my familys genetics that we mostly have girls?

I am 8 1/2 months pregnant ,i have tried to put foil in the bassinett to deter him, however he thought it was a fun shiny toy and ripped the foil and crib sheet to pieces! i am afraid he will try to jump in there once she is born, he is very cuddly so i am also afraid that he will try to sleep in there with her and accidentally suffocate her. Help!

Honestly .. i don't mean to offend but truthfully Its so sad. I see them trying to sneak into a movie theater hoping they wont wake up from the noise. And well to me, i look at this way. Kids arent going to always be innocent and sweet. They grow up to lie and hurt other people. I just dont feel it. Its like couples make such a big deal over a child...they tell everyone they know they are having a child and its just so pointless ....having kids she they can one day leave you .....forget you.....lie to you....even if a child is raised in a good home they still are flawed ...Kids are expensive too...and they scream and cry all the time. They ask to many questions ..and you do hardly anything when you have a kid ..and i truly resent the people that bring their infants into a movie....and then they start crying!!!!!! ITS NOT YOUR LIVING ROOM!!! Go home....jezz again, im not trying to hurt anyone feels ..but really a baby is NOT all that exciting..buy a new car or a home is!
