Am I the only one who is generally more fertile right after my period? Is it just me or is there a medical/scientific reason?

For clarification, I mean that I seem to get pregnant the day after my period stops.
I'm not saying I think I am pregnant, so stop telling me to take a test, lol.
I just wanted to know if I was the only one who's ovulation is a bit different/off. Good to know it's not all in my head.

I have one child, and she was high risk due to my already having a miscarraige. To chocolate bee or what ever, don't answer serious questions with your drama. My having children has nothing to do with a lack of biology, my cycle is just different than yours. My period usually stops on day 3 then comes back the next day in the evening. If you can't answer a question politely and with civility, don't answer any more of mine please.

It just depends on each woman's cycle length and especially the length of her luteal phase (time between ovulation and the next period). If your cycle in general/ your luteal phase, are shorter than the average 28 day cycle/14 day luteal phase, then that means you ovulate earlier than the average woman. I'm sure there are plenty of other women out there just like you.

Your supposed to be at your most fertile 14 days after the start of your last period, however, I'm fast learning that its not always the case. I had sex 3 days before my period was due thinking I wouldnt be fertile and the egg was on its way out. I havent come on at present and 6 days late. I've tested negative but apparently its too early to tell as I'de only be about 2 weeks pregnant. So anything goes I think!

I've fallen pregnant once the day after my period stopped. I told my boyfriends cousin and she told me you cant fall pregnant then. But I had an ultrasound to confirm (My Dr didnt believe me either) the date and I was right.
I dont know if there is a medical reason but I think our bodies just do what they want and not everyones body does exactly what medical/scientific research tells us they should do and when.

Sperm can live anywhere from 3-7 days inside a woman, so while you may not have actually bee ovulating at the time you had sex, you could have gotten pregnant that way.

i hear what you are saying. i was thinking the same thing to about some people answering questions on here. some are really rude and they act like they have to answer your question with a rude response. i feel also that if you cant answer a person question politely they keep your answers to yourself. they dont have to answer other questions with rudes and smart comments. people get on her for heart to heart answers and help not to be mistreated or put down.

what do you mean "u always get pregnant after ur period"? how many times have you been pregnant? and if you have to ask this then it means your not to up on your biology so maybe you need to stop having unprotected sex after your period. boys must not be too mean as ur name suggest bc you keep getting pregnant by them. learn to use condoms boo.
