My doctor always told me (with all 4 of my boys who range in age from 8 months to 12 years) to let the baby decide how much and how often they eat. Your doctor may advise differently though. At 4 weeks, you should begin noticing different cries for hungry, dirty / wet, board, tierd, etc. If your baby seems satisfied with the amount you are currently feeding, great! If he / she still acts hungry after the bottle is empty try increasing by an ounce or two. Only your baby can answer this question for you....it's just hard to decode the answer sometimes. Good luck to you!

It truly depends on the baby. If the baby is sleeping for 3-4 hours then they are getting enough to eat. Usually based ona every 4 hour feeding schedule the baby will eat 5 to 6 time a day.

2-4 oz of formula every 2-3 hours. Probably about 2 or 3 cans of formula a week.

feeds every 2-3 hours, usually 3 or 4 ounces at that age...
