No sweetheart I am also 6 months and only gain 7 lbs and 8 ounces so no you shouldn't worry because everyone gains weight differently during their pregnancy, see weight gain depends on your height , I am only 5 foot even and now i weight 112.8 i was 105 before i found out i was pregnant, and no you don't need to eat more often you are only suppose to eat what you can (not very big meals) small healthy meals or snacks thru out the day

Sounds normal. If the doctor's say the baby is growing fine, don't worry. My daughter was carried to term and I only gained 19 lbs.
P.S. when baby arrives, nursing is best for baby's digestive and immune system, convenient in the middle of the night, and less expensive than formula. Good Luck.

Do not worry, actually this is a good weight gain. I am 23 weeks and I just got to my original weight (morning sickness). If the baby is doing fine, nothing to worry about!
My doctor did tell me to drink protein shakes, if I wanted to gain more, but other than that she did not make a big deal out of it.
Congratulations on your baby! :-) :-) :-)

You shouldn't worry about your current weight too much if your baby is healthy. It's a misconception that mothers should gain a lot of weight and it can be unhealthy.

Don't worry one bit. If baby is healthy and growing properly, you're fine. I'm 7 months and I've gained less than that. I just look at it as being easier to drop 15lbs of baby weight than it is to drop 35lbs of baby weight.

You are fine. Most of the lbs are gained at the end of pregnancy.
