I love Clayton! Fantastic, heard of but not hugely popular! Of your choices, the best is Clayton Thomas. I like the suggestion of Clayton James as well. Perhaps you might like some of these as well: Clayton William, Clayton Reese, Clayton Isaac, Clayton Patrick, Clayton Seth.

I like Thomas Clayton
sounds very distinguished, and Clayton as a middle name works great... as a first name it is too "last"name if you know what I mean.
