So a couple weeks ago the condom broke and it was pretty close to when my period ended so stupidly i didnt bother getting a morning after pill. So..now my period is 4 days late and i think its been pretty exact for the last few months and never off by days...so im worried..but i think it is too soon to take a test..im young, still in highschool but my boyfriend is in college. I dont know if i could ever get an abortion but at the same time how could i have a child right now? What are the chances that i could be pregnant because i know it isnt that easy to get pregnant and there is pretty much only one week out of the month that you have a high chance of getting preg...my period has been late before though so im trying not to worry so much but what do u guys think i should do? is it too soon to take a test? i just would appreciate any kind of advice or help.

there's a possibility that you are pregnant. Abortion is not the only option, I'm sure you know that. The biggest issue I have with abortion, is the friends that I know have had one say it still affects them. One friend had one 6 years ago, and is still haunted by it, and one had to go to counseling and is on depression meds. It is a quick fix for you being pregnant, and remember- there may be an unplanned pregnancy, but there are no accidental babies! good luck, and many hugs!

i suppose if you don't want to tell your family about being pregnant or your boyfriend its better for you to get an abortion or give the baby up for adoption if your family don't agree with the pregnancy. And your only young you still have a future ahead of you, this will affect your schoolwork and its a really expensive job bringing a baby up. There is a type of adoption that you can go with and still be in contact with the adoptive parents of the baby and get updates on how the baby's doing but if your really against this i suppose you should speak to your boyfriends parents about the situation, maybe they could help you tell your parents if you decide to keep the baby or help you through the process of adoption or abortion if you go down that path but you should definitely take a pregnancy test, just in case your not pregnant and your just getting worked up about a situation that isnt really going on. Speak to your boyfriend and see what he thinks about it all and discuss all of your options and whats best for the baby in the long run as there isn't just you to think about. Although you can get pregnant at any time, you might not be. There are some at home tests that can be taken after the first day of your missed period (read the labels) but I would suggest you head to your local health department or Dr. office. You can have the pregnancy test done for free. If you are pregnant, consider all of your options before you decide what to do. Ultimately it's up to you, your body, your choice, but there are a lot of families who would love to give your little one a wonderful life... and who knows, you could be an amazing mother. It is not too early to get a test. Sometimes stressing out about the possibility of being pregnant is enough to cause your period to be late. Just try to relax. If you ARE pregnant talk to your b/f. There are alternitives to abortion. There are thousands of people on waiting lists for years because they cannot have babies themselves and they would love the chance to adopt a newborn. Also, being pregnant doesn't mean that you have to drop out of school, or give up your friends. I see young girls at the mall all the time with their friends and their babies. Babies don't ruin your live, they enrich it. If you have tour family's support behind you, you can still get your education.

Please don't have an abortion.
Something to think about.....look around your life. Who is the one person you cannot live without? Who is the one person who you love more than anything? Now, what if that person's mother had an abortion with that person? Think of all the happiness you would have missed out on. And think that this baby is going to provide happiness to so many others. Perhaps this baby holds the cure for cancer, for AIDS. Perhaps the baby will be the next president.
Please, if you must give up the baby for adoption, do so, but don't murder it.
And if you aren't pregnant, don't have sex again until you are ready to possibly be a mother.

it depends where the condom broke and it depends if any sperm got inside you. if you're worried, then please get a test and take it ASAP. i can't make the choice for you dear. i'm not you. if you think abortion is the right choice, then make the appointment ASAP. however, i would find out if you're pregnant first. if you're not, then i would suggest getting some other birth control. if you're worried about hormones and cost, then i would get a product called Conceptrol. it's a vaginal birth control, basically a spermicide, so IF you were to have a condom break on you again, you would be more protected. good luck!

Wait it out, and if it still doesn't come, take a test.
Please don't abort the baby.
Do you know how many couples are out there, who can't get pregnant, but want a baby more than anything? If you ARE pregnant, you could be the answers to their prayers.
If you weren't ready for the responsibility of having a baby, you should not have had sex, whether or not you used protection.
As you now know, condoms break.
I think you need to follow through with what you started, and give the baby up for adoption if you're pregnant.
But I'm not you, it's your decision.
Just please think of your options before making a decision you will regret later on.

Ok first take a test because we cannot for sure tell you whether or not your pregnant because we are not there. Secondly, if you are not just stop having sex. You already know that teen pregnancies has significantly increase and if your worried then your not ready. Third, if your pregnant do not abort it. Its murder!
