It happened to my first wife and myself.

My wife had heavy spotting a month in that suddenly stopped. Eventually, she gave birth to a boy about 5 inches long and a girl about 9 inches long.

Doctors advised us that the boy was conceived a month before the girl, and that he would have been spontaneously aborted had not my wife gotten pregnant with the girl. Spontaneous abortions often occur because of genetic defects. The doctors said that the boy struggled along for months, and eventually died, and the girl ended up dying from the toxins produced by the girl.

It's not an everyday occurrence, but the doctors indicated that they often deliver fraternal twins that are one month apart in gestational age.

There was this Grey's Anatomy episode where the girl had 2 uterus, and one baby was conceived, and then 5 weeks later another baby was conceived from a different guy. Meaning she was having twins, developing at different times, from 2 different fathers. She had to have one baby delivered early, cause of a complication. While the other stayed in her womb for a few more weeks developing. According to Grey's Anatomy.. it is possible, but.. since it is just a show.. I guess it might be possible, but really really rare :)

Although it is extremely rare, a woman CAN ovulate while pregnant, especially if she has two sets of female organs. Sometimes the second set doesn't work, but in rare cases it can and a woman CAN get pregnant. It will not always result in a live birth, however.

Yes. Oprah or Montel did a show about a woman who got pregnant again while being pregnant. She gave birth to one baby then had the second one three months later. I believe she was born with two uterus's.

It's impossible to get pregnant whilst pregnant.
And by the way, the story about the American woman who gave birth to fraternal twins who were black and white- that woman underwent IVF treatment and there was a mix-up by the hospital. They impregnated her with the sperm of a black man instead of her white husband's, the result being one black twin and one white twin. She sued for thousands.

I have heard of twins being concieved at different times, so like if you sleep with 2 guys very close to the same time and you are ovulating and end up concieving twins, there is a chance that one could be from one guy and the other baby from the other man. Sorry if that sounds confusing lol. But say you are pregnant right now, and you are wondering if you can concieve again while there is already a baby making in there, i would have to say no i dont think that can happen. You dont ovulate once you concieve so I dont think its possible. I have never heard of it happening anyways.

yeah i heard about a woman who was 5 months pregnant had sex then went to the docs complaining of stomach pains turns out shed managed to concieve again but outside her womb ie eptopic pregnancy and she gave birth to both of them by ceasarean on the same date the first one 2 weeks late and the second one nearly 5 months early!! first baby was fine and completley unaffected by the other one but the second one sadly died 3 days after he was born.

Well I have heard of women having periods for the first month or two they are pregnant..SO in that case then YEAH I guess it is possible.. But very uncommon I would imagine

i read a story a while ago in a magazine wear a women got pregnant, ovulated again 4 weeks later and got pregnant again. I think its quiet rare though!
