I am sick!! I feel like I have the flu. And it never goes away! From the moment I get up until the moment I go to sleep I feel awful. I have no energy, I'm tired, my head is groggy, I'm always nausiated, and I can't hardly eat! I'm 7 weeks pregnant & my doctor does have me on several medications. I'm taking progesterone pills, my pre-natal vitamins, and Iron pills. So I don't know whether to blame the cause of all this on pregnancy in general, or all the medications I'm on. Although I have been on these medications for about 3 weeks now. I just feel so blah all day and I realllly hope this stage passes!!

Yesterday I posted a question regarding my 19 yr old daughter and what to do with her. She only came around when no one was home and helped herself to things including the licence plate off a car that we were not using. Now she called and said apparently they have to vacate the house that the freinds rented and wants to move home. I assume they ran out of money. I want her home but am sure that she assumes like before she left. What to do?

I keep seeing all kinds of cutesy, childish, "unique" and/or made-up names in questions here. PLEASE consider that the name you give your child will affect him for his entire lifetime! What seems cute and unique to you could be setting him/her up for a lifetime of mediocrity. Studies have shown that people with easy to pronounce and easy to spell names are more successful in school and jobs and actually make more money than those with "unique" or unusual names. There's nothing wrong with being different, but please consider your child's future with whatever name you choose.

Moms! Have you been here?
My husband had a great job, we had our daughter, and when she was 5 months old, his company did a big lay-off. Since then he has been trying to find jobs that pay enough, and then we had a custody issue requiring us to move into a 3 bedroom. I had to go back to work to afford it and my mom would watch the baby. A month after moving, my mother got sick. We found a sitter, then she quit. We cant afford daycare, but make too much for assistance. Now debts that we have been trying to pay for a while are getting demanding, we have had to take a loan out on our only vehicle, and I had to cut my hours from 5 days to 2 so that I could take our daughter. We are paying rent late just to make sure the electicity stays on, the truck is falling apart, and so am I.
Our daughter is #1 and is always well taken care of, but Im starting to feel like we're in so deep that we will never get out and we will be buried. We are careful spenders and dont splurge. How do we fix this?

So, I know I am pregnant and therefore hormonal, but today I was going through some closets and found a large box filled with sentimentals-the Memorial book from my Father's funeral (he died when I was a child), old love letters to/from my husband, my older children's baby books, etc. Now I am an emotional wreck!

I think I am going to share all of these things with my husband and children tonight, and then pack them back up for a future discovery.

Now I am wanting to finish going through all of the closets, to see what else I can find that I have forgotten about!

My Fiance and I had unprotected sex on the 24th and I started ovulating on the 25th and the first day of my last period was on the 11th (14 days after that would be the 24th). We didn't plan it this way it just so happened to be that the day we had sex was 14 days later. What are my chances of being pregnant? Since he did his business inside of me on the 24th does it stay in the female body for a few days? After we were done I jumped up and went pee because I don't necessarily want to get preggers (if I am we won't be upset but were just not "really" trying, we already have one little precious toddler)...does this do anything? Thxs in advance for helping.

We have tried everything: Different nipples (silicone/latex), different liquid (breast milk, various formulas), warming the liquid, warming the nipples, different bottles (Avent, Playtex), from mom, from dad, lying down, sitting up, in front of the TV, outside, dressed, naked, and list goes on.
Everytime we try he screams bloody murder until he tires himself (and us) out. We are afraid he will dehydrate, starve, and mom is going crazy breastfeeding all day long! She is going to lose her mind shortly...
Background: Breastfed from 0-3 weeks, bottle/breast combination from 3-6 weeks (YES! He used to take the bottle no problem a month and half ago!), breastfed exclusively ever since.

My oldest child is going to be a HS senior this school year. I'm looking for information on what other parents have done to help their child get ready for that transition in their lives. Everything from banking, to cleaning, to doing laundry, everything that your child needed to learn in order to live on their own--even in a dorm setting. If you have some tips that have helped both you as the parent, and your child as a student, I'd love if it you could share those. If you're a current college student, I'd love to hear how much your parents help you out currently, how you guys handle issues such as spending money, going home, car issues, etc. Or, if you tried something, and it blew up in your face, please share that as well. Thank you in advance from a parent of a class of 2008 student!

My son has been complaining of lower back pain on and off for the past few months, we have mentioned it to two doctors but no one seems to know what's wrong. My son will be 3 in october, everyone I have spoken to about it says there is no reason for a child of this age to have recurring back ache.
Any ideas?

I am about 5 days late for my period. I have had nausea, tender breasts, lower back aches, fatigue, and my stomach feels full and bloated all the time even when I am hungry. I have taken 1 test so far and it showed up negative. I have tried to keep myself from stress and letting my nerves get bad. I don't know what to think. Can you help?
