My husband and I have always had a very active sex life, even up until a couple weeks ago, but since I hit 38 weeks last week and I'm 39 weeks today he won't have sex with me. He says it's because he's afraid my water will break on him while we are having sex. I practically had to beg for it the other day because I wanted it so bad, he's just so paranoid about the water breaking on him, he's like you do know you could pop at anytime and I don't want it to be on me...How can I convince him that even if that would happen it wouldnt' be the end of the world?!

My partner and I aren’t married, but my daughter has his 2nd name.
I’m planning on having another in the new-year and would love a son to name after my dad who died when I was a baby. There hasn’t been a boy born in my family in 30years and I would love a son to carry on my dads/family 2nd name.
Do you think it confuses a family that my son and I would have the same second name and my daughter and my partner would have a different 2nd name? If we get married my son would be the only one with a different name. Is this fair? Or do you think he might feel special, that he has an important role to fill?

My son who just turned one has started spitting out just about any food that requires chewing. It started about two weeks ago as something he would do at the end of the meal, but now he spits out just about everything except things that don't require chewing. He's lived off of cheerios, yogurt and oatmeal for the last few days. Is this just a phase? I try not to make a big deal out of it when he does it, but I'm worried he's not getting enough to eat. Any thoughts? He's not teething, by the way.

Have you thought about the future? Do you plan to start work when the kids get to a certain age? Do you worry about not earning money and paying into social security and medicare for when you get old?

I am a working mom, and just wondered if you worry about that?

I work with senior citizens and they make so very little . most women make 200- 600. for a full month, and have to pay 100.00 for their medicare premium, and then 20% of their bills........... Men make a few hundred more.

If you are married for 10 years or morei think it is you can draw off your husband once he dies and draw a little more....

I just just wondering since i deal with this issue at work

I have a few stretch marks on my tummy. Some are light and some are really dark. Lately I have been using Palmer's massage lotion for stretch marks. Some of them have lightened up a little more. I was wondering if any of you mothers out there who had strech marks while pregnant could give me some advice or tell me weather or not yours went away after the birth of your child.

I am flat chested and really ugly. I can barely fit into a 32A but I pad my bra with gel inserts and padding cut outs to a large B cup or a small C cup. I was at a party and I looked really good and I was trying to show off to a girl that hates me at my school and I was wearing a tube top and she pulled it down in front of EVERYONE!! Everyone saw and I'm sooo embarassed. I don't know what to do.

Is it possible to get a neg. blood test but still be pregnant? Im supposed to start the 2nd. I just had a blood test done and it came back negative.

Thanks to those that answered my question yesterday. another pregnancy test helped restore my faith in them, as I got a positive reading from First Response. My husband was exstatic when I told him! He was the one who first suggested I could be pregnant, as I turned down dinner one night and ate crackers instead. Smart man, he is.

Now i'm sort of scared. When i get to the doctors, I'll be about 3 months along. I don't often weight myself, but i can't have put on more than 5 or so pounds, and i don't look that different. I mean, I know doctors usually pump you full of pre-natal vitamins and telly ou to eat more of certin foods, and myabe my baby is goign to be sick becuase he didn't get the chance to do that yet? But i mena, in the middle ages they didn't have those things and peopel still lived, eh?

Well, my question REALLY is: When was your first doctors appt. for your pregnancy? and is my doctor goign to be mad it took me so long?

but when they dipped that little test strip it showed that I didnt have a UTI, they also checked me down there to see if they could see if I had a cut or maybe something else but nothing, they did send my specimen to a lab. Should I be worried, has this happened to anyone else, could it be a bladder infection.

First month taking Clomid my period was 3 weeks late when it finally arrived it lasted for 2 weeks. Went to doc and they said nothing was wrong and to take the next dose. My next period was extremely heavy. Worse then ever. Now after my 3rd cycle of Clomid I have not got my period. I am on day 53. Took two tests both were negative. I am not sure what to do next. I don't like my doctor and am getting refered to a new one but what should I do in the mean time?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am 29, getting marrried in 14 weeks, and I feel like I never really want children, I feel like I won't be mature / ready enough.
If I was too have them I would not like to be older than 31. Argh! it's hard.
As two years ago..I was soooo ready I asked and asked and he wasn't ready, and now the time has passed i feel like that.
Will my motherly instinct set in, as i am wonderful with kids but feel like...um..maybe it will cause stress on our marriage, I'll be too selfish..is this normal to feel this way??
