My 5 month old boy seems to be healthy and happy. He is also exclusively breastfed. He does move his hands and legs energetically. He just hasn't turned over by himself. He can do it if he holds on to something. He is developing a little late?

Thats normal...all babies develop at a different pace...and 5 months is still young, he will get the hang of it before you know. I thought my son was never gonna get the hang of rolling from his tummy to his back, he had the other way just fine, then one day...he just did it. You have nothing to be concerned about, especially since he seems to be moving his hands arms and legs around fine...he just hasn't mastered the roll yet. My neice doesnt roll yet and shes 11 months, shes just a lazy baby though.

I in no way quite new how diverse toddlers have been till I had my twins a boy and lady 6 months previous. they're so diverse and yet so alike. My lady has been rolling and flipping considering that 4 months and he or she ought to scoot like an inch malicious application on her tummy considering that she grew to become into born. My son is in basic terms now rolling over and he or she will take a seat practically by using herself thoroughly and he's practically there nonetheless slightly tipsy however. Your infant sounds very healthful. My lady sleeps all night yet my son would not. She is bottle fed he's breast yet they the two eat solids some better than different relies upon. Mine play with there toys and then throw them after a couple of minutes till they see the different one with it no huge deal.. the only ingredient they take a seat nonetheless for thoroughly is American idol lol.. You look doing a large interest do no longer concern your infant will do each and everything you choose once you least assume it. good success!!!

You don't need to be worried this early on in the game. He is just developing a little slower than most his age but all children develop differently.

not late.
All babies are different.
My youngest son rolled over at 7 weeks.........it was more like a rock & roll. and my daughter didn't roll over until she was 9 months old. She didn't walk until 14 months and he walked at 9 months.
He will roll over soon and you will wonder why you worried
