Is a thick whitish lotion type cm a sign of ovulation? Would this be the beginning, middle, or end? Is this a good time to try and conceive? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

No, your CM would be clear and slippery, egg white like. This starts a few days before ovulation and lasts until you ovulate. The creamy/lotion like CM is seen before your fertile period, and after. However it should be noted that some women report not seeing any of the egg white like CM and yet still manage to get pregnant, so I say try anyways just in case. You may want to buy ovulation tests, they give you about 24 hours notice of ovulation. I got pregnant the 2nd month I used them. Good luck.

It is a good sign. I always heard you have that around the middle time. Not sure how true... I just know you need to look for the egg white right before ovulation. Good luck!
