All the time! lol. I have a little redhead son, and here in Australia, it's not too often you come across a little redhead! hehehe. Loads of people like to marvel at the angel you have produced...not in an offensive way, but more so commendative. Enjoy it, knowing people are as excited about your bundle of joy as you are :)
Congrats!!

oh my god yes!!
once you get pregnant and then have a baby your life is now completely public, most people are sweet and just want to oogle and others want to chat to you and make some kind of human connection and i have noticed that its more likely to occur in rural towns and by older woman say 40-50ish especially ones that have grandkids.
it can get annoying and at other times when i am lonely for adult conversation its absolutely wonderful. i see it as apart of motherhood, you have this young beautiful life and everyone wants to share a bit of it, so i try to be good tempered about it even if my day is going down the toilet, plus i have a social baby and new happy loving faces make her day! :-))
so dont worry, once baby is bigger, and toddling around, you will be too busy chasing to get stopped by mostly well meaning strangers.

I actually have people stop at my table at restaurants and talk to my baby and not even look at me. It is so funny the faces they make when they look and talk to my 2 month old little girl. I can't go anywhere without someone stopping and asking me questions or just stop to stare at my little girl. I kinda like that people think she is cute. It makes me feel honored. All babies are cute and sweet though, not just mine!

Oh yes. It was so cute, my husband and I were at Trader Joes and it was crowded. Nearly everybody came up and asked how old he was, commented how cute he was or said "Oh look what a tiny baby!" Anywhere we go at least 3 people come up to us, children point and tell thier moms and say "look at the baby!" or they smile and pass a look of adoration to us.
They ask his name, his age and then say how adorable he is
He really is.
He is getting so much attention every time we go out
