I just took a pregnancy test and it was positive - I am SO happy right now! I'm about 2 weeks pregnant and this is my 4th baby. Just wondering, when do all of you moms start spreading the word? I can't ever wait! I've already told 3 people now (plus you guys) LOL

First you would have to be at least 4 weeks prego because the first day of your last period is your first day of pregnancy. In otherwords when your baby was conceived you were already 2 weeks plus or minus pregnant. Your due date is 40 weeks from the first day of your last cycle.

As for when you start telling people it is totally up to you. Many people tell others right away. Most others like to wait until they are 13 weeks at least because that is when the risk of miscarriage goes down a ton. Many pregnancies end in miscarriage within the first trimester. So people like to wait until the risk is much lower. Still others wait until they're showing to share the great news.I couldn't wait so i told everyone right away. My bet is you will be like me because you are so excited and there is nothing wrong with that!

Congratulations!! I'm thrilled for you. There is nothing better than being a mom!

Every woman is different. Sadly, 25% of pregnancies result in an early miscarriage so telling too early could be painful when you have to call them back and say you have lost it. Most of my friends waited until 6 to 8 weeks to tell close family and friends and 10 to 12 weeks to tell everyone else. My doctor always recommends 10 weeks because the risk of miscarriage is low enough and if you do lose it at that point you will want/need the support of those you have already told.

Congratulations! How exciting! I was as far along as you are now, when I found out.
It's your exciting news and I know it's hard to keep it to yourself. I told my fiancee the moment my pregnancy test came out positive, as well as my mom (she has been waiting to become a grandma for a while).
If it's good news to you, then spread it around, nothing like having others be excited with you during this exciting time:)

FYI, whoever said it's impossible to know that soon, yes, it IS possible. The asker even said that technically she is 4 weeks, you count from the first day of your last period. I was two and a half weeks when I found out, technically, I was around 5 (found out July 1, the first day of my last period was May 29).

Depending on the ages of your children, I would probably wait until you're at least over the first trimester. I would definetly tell my mom and my hubby ASAP, and otherwise would wait a month or two before I really spread the word!

All in all, it's your decision to make. I just know how impatient little ones can be when they're expecting a new baby in the house. I made the mistake of telling my oldest son within the first two months, and every time I went anywhere w/out him he thought I was going to get the baby.

Congrats and good luck! Thanks for sharing the news of your new little one w/ us!

Congrats.

I told close friends when I found out at 5 weeks. Didn't tell my parents until I was 12 weeks. Just wanted to make sure everything was ok.

it fairly is definitly a reliable theory to scrub the earing studs with Peroxide and sparkling your palms with cleansing soap in the previous you put in new rings. which will fairly shrink the prospect of an infection. in case your earring hollow has crust or puss on/in it (gross yet genuine), has a pink annoyed colour, and feels sore to tension then it fairly is contaminated. Redness is a considerable sign and the puss shows that there is an inner an infection. the superb factor to do once you have an contaminated earring hollow is to scrub it interior the morning and at night with Peroxide. jointly as ears are contaminated do not positioned rings in until the redness has lengthy gone down and that they seem and experience greater healthy (probubly some days) then it fairly is secure to positioned on rings. *wish this helps.

Well, I did not know until I was almost 5 months pregnant! So if you are and found out that quick I think I would wait until you are at least 3 months along!
I mean, Make sure that everything is OK first,
you know?

Blessings and luck!

It's up to you...lots of women wait with their first for fear of miscarriage, but since you've already had 3, I'm sure you're safe to tell now! :) Congrats....
