My son is definitely healthy and thriving as he is always at the 99% in height and weight. So I'm wondering, is there any benefit to giving him stage 2 formula instead of regular baby formula at this time? He seems to want his formula less and less these days, so I'm wondering if I should switch.

okay so i read a few of the questions on here and they say "go to the doctor" well i have made an appointment but its not until next week and i just really really need other peoples opinion... okay.. so i am on the pill and i didnt get my period last week like i was supposed to the only thing that i got was on the very last day and it was the brown stuff ... no red blood of any tone (dark or light) and i only got like maybe 3 droplets of it.... I am not feeling normal.... like i honestly feel like i am pregnant but at the same time i could be just freaking out... i took 2 at home test and both came up negative..... but i did read that it is possible to take them too early... AND i had a dream the other night that i was pregnant and it dealt with the at home test being wrong... im sorry this is soo long... its my first post :-) ... any opinion would help please let me know... thanks!!

I have 4 boys, 12, 15, 17, 22 and a girl, 19. My hubby has an ostensive preference for the girl, this is evident to anyone and he doesn't try to hide. Because she's our only girl out of the 5 kids. Some people say I favor the youngest a little bit but this is not true, he's just a bit closer to me The girl is also close to me. She and my youngest are very happy, he doesn't mind my hubby favors the girl, and is close to hubby too. My oldest and my 17 yo don't have problems either, they are typical males, good boys but not attached to feelings, have practical minds. But my 15 yo is very sensitive, to him feelings are much important and he strongly resents this situation. He feels left out, thinks he's not loved. And he's a wonderful boy, a sweetheart, worries about other people. Responsible, an honor student, his teachers always praise him. But he's unhappy. I've told him we love him as much as the girl and the youngest, but he doesn't belive, doesn't trust us, this is sad.

Of course I'm going to talk to my doctor first, just getting other people's opinions. Are anti-depressants at all safe to take while your pregnant(any experience) or can you take something more natural like st.johns wort? I have OCD & I was just wondering if anyone has taken anti-depressants while pregnant. Thanks all. If you can't politely answer, please don't answer at all. :-)

7 year old's asking for laptop computers and Nintendo Wii's and getting them. I do not have kids, but I would hope that when I do have children that I don't just hand them every expensive toy that they want. I would think that it would get to a point where they would become never satisfied.

My wife is 36 almost 37 weeks pregnant. She had both of our sons at 38 weeks exactly with normal labor and delivery. Now our daughter is breech and the doctor says she will need a c-section with this one. We go to the doctor today but we're both scared hes going to say we have to wait another week. We have heard of the danger of going into labor with a breech baby and would rather it be preformed at 37 weeks than risk her going into labor. So when do you think he will want to preform it? (yes we are going to tell him our concerns today just curious as to what you have experienced and went through regarding c-sections and breech babies)

I'm taking a red-eye tonight--3.5 hour flight from 10am touching down at 2:30am (allowing for time zone shift). Any ideas for making the trip with my near two year old and my sanity? The plane is currently half ful and has a tendency to arrive late so I'm estimating arriving after 3am. Any hints/ideas? He's definitly a "I need my own crib to sleep" type baby.

I've asked opinions once before regarding 4 c-sections but would love to hear stories of people who have had 4 c sections safely. I'm worried about abnormal placental implantation.... know of anyone who had this and how it was handled? More c-sections means greater likelihood of the baby or the placenta implanting in the scar tissue....

I think I'm going to get a cavity filled which will require Novocaine and I am concerned that it will affect my breast milk in a negative way.
Does anyone have any recommendations? How long will the drug remain in my system? Is it ok to breast feed afterward or should I 'pump and dump'? My Baby is exclusively breastfed so I'm wondering if I need to pump in advance and if so, how much? I've searched online but I can't seem to find any information about breast milk and dental work. Any helpful advise is welcome. Thank you!

I have a 6 month old daughter and I am currently looking for a boyfriend. I have all the qualities most guys look for and I'm cute. But my daughter is the center of my life. I do for her and spend all of my time with her. Yes. If I had a dude I would make time for him as well but mostly my time is for my daughter. Is the fact that I have a daughter making guys not want to be with me?

I have two girls ... the oldest is 2yrs and the youngest 8months. I've always had their bedtime around 8:30pm - 9pm ish. My husband and I work opposite shifts(him 7am-3pm and me 5pm-2am), I don't want someone else raising my child. (Not that there is anything wrong w/ daycare or babysitters). My sister always goes on and on about how we put the girls to bed too late and she puts her son to bed at 7pm. But my girls sleep till 8am-9am and take an hour or two nap in the afternoon. She's always up with her son anywhere between 3am and 5am in the morning... and says that her child just doesn't like to sleep. But to me seems like she's just putting him to bed too early. So my question is... what time do you think is a good bedtime for a 2-3yr (her son is 3yr)???
I think whatever works for your family .... but I could be wrong...

My friend just found out her 18 month old daughter may be Autistic. I have a special needs child, but the treatment for autism is way different. If anyone out there has an autistic child, or knows anything about autism it would help.

I have just found out i am pregnant and dont know what to do. I am in £18-£19k worth of debts. I live with my boyfriend and his mum and dad as we cannot afford our own place. My boyfriend has only been working for 3 weeks in a new job but doesnt earn a great deal. I cant get another consolidation loan so my monthly payments are lower as my credit is so bad finance companies will not touch me. I cant cope with all this debt at the moment let alone when my baby comes along. I know I was stupid to get pregnant so no comments about that please. Any ideas what to do for the best?? I have even considered suicide as i dont know where else to turn and my baby will not have a good life. I want to keep my baby more than anything in the world. Please help.

My week-old niece is very healthy, eating well and sleeping well. We've noticed that she has a little tear at the corner of her eye, that is there continually. It doesn't look like an infection, and we were just wondering what it was, as she doesn't seem worried by it at all. Any ideas?

Just in case this helps, we're having hot, dry weather at the moment, about 35 degrees centigrade.

Thank you!

What is the real purpose of a crib bumper? We have one on our 8 month olds crib and I just don't see how it is anything but dangerous. She moves around so much that she ends up with her face pressed up against it while she sleeps and I'm afraid it may suffocate her. Can someone tell me what the reasons are for these things. Thanks

I have tried and tried and he has almost got it, but as soon as he falls or comes close to falling, he gets off the bike and says he doesn't want to ride. What can I do? I don't want to force him, but I would really like him to be able to ride so we can go on family excursions and so he doesn't get made fun off by other children because he still has training wheels.

okay so im 15 years old and pregnant. most of you who read all of my other questions pretty much know my entire life in the past 6 weeks. in my last question..i told everyone that i was going to planned parenthood to make my family and everyone happy to get a medical abortion..but when i got there i said i was going to tell them that i didnt want to do it after they did the ultrasound.
well i told them i wasnt ready for the abortion.. and as soon as i told my boyfriend he was so pissed and he told his mom and she was pissed..his mom told my mom..who was furious and told me to go back to planned parenthood and take the pill or dont come back home unless im packing to leave. this all happened yesterday which was me and my boyfriends 11 month anniversary. i spent the rest of the day at his house wanting to cry. my mom was stupid and told my older and younger sister what happened and they call me on the phone crying about how im being selfish and that its not all about me...but so far..
