First, don't apologize for long posts...it helps us understand your questions more fully so that we may give you better answers. :) Second, Of course, no one could tell you for sure but a doctor. However, it does sound to me like you could be. How is it that you feel weird? Both times I was pregnant I had a heightened sense of smell. Or at least, certain things drove me crazy. You could be nauseous or you may not feel yucky at all. Some women feel faint. Some have their gums bleed. It is definetly possible to take it too early. Sometimes they can be off even when taken on time. I took a test after I was a month or more late and it came up negaive when I was pregnant with my first child. Spotting can definetly be a sign of pregnancy. I also did that once every month for the first few months of my first pregnancy. However, let me not freak you out further. A lot of your symptoms could just be normal period issues. Sometimes (before I ever was close to being pregnant) I would go three months without one get it for a month or two and go three months without one again. Spotting can also happen when you aren't pregnant and even though you didn't bleed you can still feel yucky from it. So, don't go worrying yourself too much. No matter what it will be okay. We all freak out about what people will think, how we can do this, whether or not we can handle it, and the truth is you can. The human mind, body, and spirit are amazing things. No matter what, you will get past it. People will still love you and your child (and even if they didn't you could do it). You will make it.
I wish you luck whether you are pregnant or not.
Remember darling when you are feeling low..."Yes, you can!"

Honestly, if you are on the pill and you are good at taking it every day when you're supposed to, then it is HIGHLY unlikely that you are pregnant. I mean, sure, there's always a small possibility, but it really is SO slight that I wouldn't worry too much about it. Perhaps you're just being paranoid, and stressing over getting your period can delay it even more. I know from personal experience, and from friends who have also had "pregnancy scares".

Brown blood is usually a sign of old blood. Many pregnant women spot with brown blood. There's really nothing you can do but wait. At this point, it's really 50/50. I'd suggest stop taking your pills and start taking prenatal or Flinstone vitamins just in case. They suggest taking them before you conceive anyway. Good luck, hope it works out the way you like.

it is possible to get pregnant on the pill. and it is true that you can take the at home test too early.. I would just wait till your doctor appt. And if you are overly tired and eating alot more, that is a sign of pregnancy.

Home tests are pretty good. I'd wait a few more days, and try another home test. If it's still negitive - i'd trust it. Other things cause a late or messed up period. Such as stress.

i am no doctor but you are probably not pregnant i read somewhere that not having a period comes from being stressed out.

You're not pregnant. irregular periods are normal while taking the pill.

dreams = you're thinking about it.
'feeling like youre preg" = you're tricking your body

You're taking Asprin??? Better hope you're not pregnant!
