My son is definitely healthy and thriving as he is always at the 99% in height and weight. So I'm wondering, is there any benefit to giving him stage 2 formula instead of regular baby formula at this time? He seems to want his formula less and less these days, so I'm wondering if I should switch.

Hey babe! I wouldn't do it. Time to put him on 2% milk. Some may disagree, but I tell you it's what I did with mine. There is no book on parenting, but it never hurt them. My kids are healthy, happy, and givin' me back-talk. Wait until that day comes. Don't over-do it. U can't overcompensate for going back to work. You need to call me. It will be OK, I promise.

I used regular formula until my son was a year old...then switched to stage 2 because he doesnt like milk and wasnt eating a lot of meat.

It has a little more iron in it than regular formula I think. Check the back of the can.

. I did switch and he does not need that much formula all that much. stage two formula is thicker and it lasts longer with my son. I buy less than I would have to with the regular formula

I have two kids and gave them both stage 2 when they got older. I believe it has more percentage of something important they need...i can't remember what exactly it is. i would do it! But i don't think you HAVE to.
