I have really dry skin and my face has broken out. Could I be pregnant? Is heavy CM discharge normal after ovulation at 6dpo?

Yes, this is normal. Estrogen is mainly responsible for the fertile quality cervical mucus so if you have high estrogen, or are estrogen dominant, then it is very normal to see patches of EWCM before and after O.

"EWCM comes from an estrogen increase. That usually happens several days prior to ovulation. But it also happens about a week after ovulation. So seeing EWCM again at that time is not unusual. "-- http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/a...

"Once ovulation has occurred, the cervical fluid dries up, and the vagina remains dry until the next cycle. However, many women do experience periods of "unexplained" EWCM both before and after ovulation."-- http://www.babysnark.com/ttc-fertility/t...

It really doesn't indicate pregnancy. But, you can go here for symptoms other women have had early on-- www.twoweekwait.com

This could be many things, 6dpo is much too early to truly see signs of pregnancy. As long as the discharge doesn't have a foul odor or out of the ordinary color for you I would chalk it up to just one of those things.

However if it has an odor, is associated with pain or burning I would see your doctor.

As for pregnancy if you can't wait for a missed period maybe hold of on taking an HPT until at least 10-12 dpo and use an HPT that specifies early use.

Good Luck .

If you tried conceiving, then there is a poss that you are pregnant. Or if you had sex when you were ov. Do you want to be pregnant? 6 days after ov could be implantation. Every woman is different so it is hard telling. You may have some slight cramping (like premenstual only a little lighter) and maybe some spotting. If you want to be pregnant, good luck to you! Do yourself a favor and wait til at least 14 dpo til you take a test though. Save yourself the aggrivation! Good Luck!

The fertilized egg would just be starting the implantation phase right now, and you wouldn't have symptoms already.
