My Fiance and I had unprotected sex on the 24th and I started ovulating on the 25th and the first day of my last period was on the 11th (14 days after that would be the 24th). We didn't plan it this way it just so happened to be that the day we had sex was 14 days later. What are my chances of being pregnant? Since he did his business inside of me on the 24th does it stay in the female body for a few days? After we were done I jumped up and went pee because I don't necessarily want to get preggers (if I am we won't be upset but were just not "really" trying, we already have one little precious toddler)...does this do anything? Thxs in advance for helping.

Any time you have unprotected sex, there is a high chance that you will get pregnant if you're a healthy woman and since you had a child with him already I can assume that you both are pretty healthy adults. Sperm can stay inside your body for up to 3 days. If he did his business inside, peeing really doesn't do anything because you pee right below your clit and not inside your vagina. To ease your mind I would just buy a pregnancy test. If you don't intend to have another child any time soon, you should talk to your doctor about going on some sort of birth control or the day after pill, so you don't have to worry every time something like this happens. Good luck!

Sperm can live inside the female body for about 5 days. Getting up to use the bathroom really doesn't do much to prevent a pregnancy. Just a side note, a lot of women don't ovulate on day 14. That is just a rough estimation. Unless you chart or use ovulation prediction kits, its hard to say when you ovulate. Best of luck.

Your chances of being pregnant are quite high due to the fact you started ovulating on the very next day. Matter of fact, anytime you have unprotected sex, there is a chance of pregnancy. What confuses me is this: you sound to be quite knowledgeable about your menstrual and ovulating cycles, so why would you believe that by immediately urinating after sex you could possibly prevent pregnancy? Urinating does not clear the vagina of semen, and even if semen exits the vagina while urinating, there will still be more than enough left to cause pregnancy. Please take the time to further educate yourself about your body, sexual reproduction, and methods of contraception. Besides abstinence, this is the only other way of helping yourself to prevent pregnancy, unless, of course, you wish to have another child.

I would say that it is very possible you got pregnant, but only a test will tell for sure. I know that it feels like going pee can help get the *** out, but that is not really true. Urine comes out of a different part of the body than where you have sex. I know some of that stuff drips out, but there is no way to know how much of his stuff made it inside of you. Sperm can live inside the body for several days. Wait until your period should come and if it doesn't than take a hpt.

Best of luck!!!

If you have sex 5 days before or 5 days after you ovulate, you have a GREAT chance of getting pregnant.

No, getting up to pee right afterward is no help in preventing pregnancy (though it's a great practice to prevent urinary tract infections). His sperm stay inside and last up to 5 days. It looks like to me that you guys hit a bullseye. Unless something biological went wrong, I'd say your toddler's going to get a mate.

Anytime you have sex you have a chance to get pregnant, but given the information you gave, I think you stand a very good chance of getting pregnant. Good luck.

Nope.. getting up immediately to pee/cleanse yourself has no effect on swimming spermies.
Haha..

I thought it would, boy, was I wrong.

I had unprotected sex in a bathroom. Yea, weird, I know, but it was there and so were we. Haha..

Anyway, I immediatly sat on the toilet and just wiped all the "g00k" out/off of me, but low-and-behold, 2 weeks later I got a positive pregnancy test.

Considering you had sex on your 14th day, there's a pretty good chance you are pregnant.

I say good luck to you and if you are, congratulations!
Hehe.

Wow... worst possible time to have sex if you did not want to get pregnant..... Yes, those little guys will be in you and active for a few days.... And your urethra (pee) is separate from your vagina (sex organ)... You've never noticed that??
