I am just over 38 weeks pregnant and I was wondering...I went to the bathroom the other day and when I wiped I got some slimy snot like goo. It didn't any oder or blood...it was white with a tinge of greenish color. I didnt see any more of this untill this morning and I am wondering if this could me gradually losing my mucus plug or is it something else

Yup, that would be part of your mucous plug. It doesn't always have to have blood in it, mine didn't. But don't worry about labor. Losing your mucous plug is not an indication of labor. Some women lose at 32 weeks and it just regenerates itself. However it does mean that you have at least started to dilate.

no u can merely flow on including your general stuff actual having intercourse now that the mucus plug is long gone may assist you to flow into exertions. at 38 weeks that's high quality to have the toddler u r due quickly any way spectacular so walking having intercourse mountain climbing stairs all of this might actual make exertions much less annoying I even have 2 little ones and have been pregnant 4 cases so i be attentive to what i'm speaking approximately

If you've never seen this before, then yes, it was probably part of your mucus plug. It should be really slippery and thick. Some women lose it gradually and it could mean labor is days away or a week or more.

Hi I was actually wondering the same thing and was glad I ran across your question. I havnt seen any thick bloody discharge like I thought I understood it would be, but more like something from a runny nose. Ive noticed a little every day up untill this morning. I am 37 weeks 2 days, and hoping taht labor is coming! Good luck to you!!!!

Yes, more than likely, you are losing your mucus plug, which is normal.

that's what it sounds like to me, but you should call your dr with the symptoms just to be sure. best wishes with delivery and baby!

It does sound like it...having any labor???call the dr..to get checked,,and she can tell you if your dialated.
