I am about 5 days late for my period. I have had nausea, tender breasts, lower back aches, fatigue, and my stomach feels full and bloated all the time even when I am hungry. I have taken 1 test so far and it showed up negative. I have tried to keep myself from stress and letting my nerves get bad. I don't know what to think. Can you help?

Yes, they sound like pregnancy symptoms, but could also be other things. They say that the pregnancy tests are pretty accurate and can be used even after 1 day late. I would wait a few more days and try another test.

It does sound like early pregnancy symptoms but also sounds like pre-period symptoms. You are going to have to play the waiting game I'm afraid. Test again in another 5 days if you still think you could be pregnant. Good luck and I hope you get the result you want.

Take another test. You sound like you could be pregnant, and the tender breasts are the biggest giveaway. You may not have had enough of the pregnancy hormone in you for the test stick to detect it so my advice is to do another then go and see your GP.

I knew right away that I was pregnant from the tender breasts. In a few more days, I'd take another test if I were you.

im sure if your pregnant the test would have been positive because you can tell by being 1 day late it just might be where you have been a bit late have you got your dates right ? go to the chemist for a test for a bout £5.00 or the local clinic for free

If it is five days after your missed period, a pregnancy test would show up positive. Wait another five days, and test again. If your period doesn't show, then you should see a doctor.

I don't believe that being 5 days late is going to cause all the symptoms you have. Please contact your doctor. I do agree with the answer that you may want to be pregnant but just
see your doctor and get straight answers.

I would test again with first morning urine. If its still negative call your dr for a blood test.
