Consider the following:

1) Even though there is an intentional "shortage" of the toy at the moment, within 3 months, you will be able to get the toy at any WalMart (in other words, if you wait, the toy will become mass marketed)

2) The toy will become "obsolete" in 3 months and replaced by a better toy.

3)The toy will go down in price within 6 months and readily become available on ebay.

I mention it and he just changes the subject. He want a baby to but I am not sure it he has to have his own and not adopted one. I want one bad either way and would almost divorce to get one. Help me. :(

My son was born last Thursday on 06/28/2007. Today after his doctor's appointment I wrapped him up in his blanket and carried him down to our river front and walked around with him for a little and got some food. I carried him the whole time and had him wrapped nicely and the cover was sheilding his face. He slept so soudly. I was walking by this couple and they wanted to see in on him and when I told him he was only 5 days old they basically implied that I was a bad mom because they never took out any of their babies until they were at least 3 months old. I'm so worried now and am thinking that I maybe shouldn't have done this. Was this bad? We were only out for a total of probably 20 minutes. I've also taken him on 2 separate walks in his stroller since we've gotten home. At his check up today, the doctor said he looks great.

Four year old wants to play outside non stop! I try to let him out as much as I can, and slather him with sunscreen but he can't be outdoors ALL the time! I try to let him be outside as much as possible, we picnic and also try to do a few learning lessons outside-- count the steps to the slide, swing starts with s-- lets SSSSwoosh on the swings etcetera... But he's not the only child-- I have other kids who want to sit and color, or play indoors with their toys. How can I get him to STOP the constant nagging "I wanna go ouuutsiiiide!!!" all day long!? Any ideas??? He's driving me bananas!

i knew a girl who had been pregnant five times one right after the other. she wouldnt wait the 6 weeks after delivery to have sex and each time she got pregnant. her first child her mom has custody of, her second child she has, her third child is in foster care or something, her fourth child she put up for adoption and her fifth child she is keeping. each child is from a different man. she said she loves being pregnant because it makes her feel like a women. she said she had unprotected sex each time on purpous so she could become pregnant. can women be addicted to being pregnant? what can explain this behavior

38 week appt today, have had "false labor" now for 2 weeks.
The last couple of days, contractions have been about 3-5 minutes apart..but according to doctor "not dilated"
(by the way - my abdominal muscles are killing me at this point. I feel like I've done a thousand sit ups!)

He gave me the option to induce this Sunday - but a part of me is thinking baby just isn't ready yet. And I've heard induced labor is more difficult than the real thing.

What would you do?

I'm 5'4" and before my pregnancy I weighed 116 and wore a 34D bra. Now at only 13 weeks I'm already a size 34DDD! Does a large increase in bust size mean I will have a larger baby? How much more can I expect my bust to increase? My husband is 6'5" and he keeps telling me the baby is going to be 10+ lbs!

HI I am pregnant and I found out that I was about a week ago. I havent told my husband yet. I dont just want to go out and say" Hey I am Pregnant" I want to tell him in a fun sweet out of this world kind of way. Do you have any ideas to what I should do? Please help me.
P.S. I am happy that I am pregnant and me and my husband always wanted a chid.

Alright well, about 2 weeks ago I thought I was in pre-term labor and thankfully I wasn't. I'm nearing my due date and I'm due in exactly 25 days. Frankly I've been calm and collected up until now. Now I'm absolutely terrified of labor and delivery and have so many questions that have been answered but still linger. For example- How will I know that my water broke? How can I be sure that I lost my mucous plug? How much pain am I exactly in for? I want to have a natural birth, am I out of my mind? and How will I feel and recover afterwards? I know it's a lot of questions, but I am so nervous. This is my first baby and I'm also concerned about his size seeing as I'm petite and little. Please help ease my anxieties.

exwife thinks my new wife should have no say/involment with our child and should take a back seat to everything.All school/discipline/discussions about my son should be between me and my ex and my new wife should NEVER be involved.My new wife feels the only time i should talk to my exwife is if there is an emergency or a major problem with our son not for everything thing that comes up.Plus my new wife feels left out when i talk to only to my ex about a issue with my son(exampe school problem/sickness).She feels i should tell her the same stuff i tell my exwife but then my ex gets pissed as she feels its none of her concern.The bottom line is they hate each other so much all they can think about is how to make the other one miserable.

the usual in-law complaint. I just want to make sure if I'm being reasonable or not.
After the first month of giving birth, my mother-in-law and I decided to go shopping. . As we were getting back into the car, she started to make comments such as, 'it is a lot safer for the babies to ride in front.' and started to insinuate that she would put him in the front of her car if she drove him anywhere. I just said, 'well, i'm following doctors orders.'. As we were getting on the highway, my baby started to fuss, and it also started to spit rain. Just as I was merging with heavy traffic, she turned around 180 in the front seat and started trying to sooth him. ( mean her rear end was in the windshield, turned around) I asked her to turn around and put on her seatbelt. She started yelling that NOONE tells her what to do and how Dare I ask her to put on her seatbelt. I have this policy of 'my car, my rules'. She has refused to ride with me since. Am I being unreasonable?

Hi all, I live in NY city in a 4th floor apartment that is long and narrow. The only way to get air flow to keep my home cool during the summer is to keep the windows open. This is a must, but the problem I have is my two year old is always trying to look too far out the window. I have caught him at the last minute a few times almost all the way out the window. Do they make an electric mat or some sort of child collar that will shock him slightly when he gets near the window?

My daughter is almost 9 months old and I just started to wean her and she is taking to formula from a bottle great! She even holds it herself! But people are making me feel guilty! It was to the point where she hasn't left my side...or my breast since she was 3 mos old and began refusing bottles. I haven't left the house by myself, my husband and I haven't had a night out alone..nothing!

Am I wrong for wanting her to be able to be left with her grandmother? Should I go back to breastfeeding her???

My baby 3 1/2 months old and is "flipping over" in her crib. Should I be on alert all night, checking her? They say "back to sleep" for safety, but I can't stop her. Should I be worried?
She does sleep thru the night, so that is not a problem.

I can not thank you enough for all the varied responses and some harsh opinions. Apparently I am a 21 day cycle not 28, & from what I can tell, I did in fact start my period July 2nd, & seems to be a full normal crampy period. The last date of my previous months period was June 9 & the sexual encounter was June 15. I am so grateful but have another question. I am multichemical sensitive. I can not handle and never could use spermicides, sponges, inserts all gave me reactions. I can handle plain no lube condoms. My man shrinks in them, which I think is pshychological, not physical. He had been celibate many years as I was the last 13 or so by choice. I am in a dilemma because I am scared & absolutely will not entertain IUD or any inserted BC, I am just against it. I feel doomed. He is willing to wait until we get married to have sex, but even after married, I can't go around at 48 popping out babies because we don't know which BC method best for me. I brought up vasectomy. No go. Help.

this is not fair. my bf spilled sperm arounfd my vagina when dry humping. we never had intercourse cuz i dont want a baby with him. he is no good & said he would never marry me. im 3 days late for my period and i have a bladder infection.
