I'm 5'4" and before my pregnancy I weighed 116 and wore a 34D bra. Now at only 13 weeks I'm already a size 34DDD! Does a large increase in bust size mean I will have a larger baby? How much more can I expect my bust to increase? My husband is 6'5" and he keeps telling me the baby is going to be 10+ lbs!

NO. my breasts went from a 36b before pregnancy to 36f at the end of pregnancy and went up to a 36gg when my milk came in but they settled at 36f once breastfeeding was established. my baby weighed 7lb 8oz and he was a week late! so there is no link at all trust me.

no, it doesn't mean you are gonna have a large baby. My breasts when up almost 3 sizes and my baby girl was an average baby 19 1/2 inches, 7 1/4 lbs.

When I was 13 years old mine were probably about a 32A, then eventually were a 32B when I was 14/15. I thought that they were quite small but everyones opinions are different. As long as your boob size are in proportion with the rest of your body you have nothing to worry about, curves show feminism. I am now 17 and have 34D boobs, which are pretty big but I don't mind because they suit my figure, it does mean that I have to wear bigger dress sizes but as I said curves look nicer on a woman than being flat. Not saying that looks are really important of course its about who you are on the inside, but don't complain, that is an average size for your age and believe me, when you're older you will start to like them. I have a few friends my age who are still A cups who would die to have bigger boobs. Be proud of what you have got, not ashamed. :) x

Big boobs does not equal big babies.

Lots of variables:
1) baby size from your side of the family and his side of the family.
2) how long you carry the baby; the closer to term, the larger the baby's gonna get because they grow fastest towards end of pregnancy.
3) if you have gestational diabetes (only get this during pregnancy), if you don't control your sugar/glucose intake, may result in oversized baby.

Don't know how much bigger you're gonna get with the boobs, but please wear a good bra that will support it all. By the end of your pregnancy, all the front weight will be very hard on your back.

Plus, boobs will sag if not supported, especially after having a baby. Beware!

No, bra size does not correlate to baby size. You still might get bigger after the baby is born and your milk comes in. Good Luck!

A large baby is usually indicative of future diabetes for you, but genetics is also a factor. Not sure what your bra size has to do with anything! I was a C cup and my kids were all around 6 pounds.

i was 5'10" and weighed 110# when i got preggo with twins,,,i gained 70# and went from a 32 barely B to a 36DD. my twins were born about 4 weeks early (although full term in terms of twins). they were 4.15 and 5. happy healthy babies. i dont think the breast size had anything to do with their sizes. i did have problems though with breastfeeding, they were so small and i had gotten so big they could not latch on. i pumped and fed them from bottles for 3.5 weeks till i dried up. making over a gallon a day took a toll on me. but at least they got the "good stuff". good luck and congrats

It means you have a lot of breast tissue developing. Preparing for producing milk for your baby.....

Nothing more nothing less.

How often do you hear of 10 lb babies being born? Not often I bet.

My daughter is 5'2" and her babies weighed in in the 7 lbs area. I'm 5'5" My babies weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and the twins at 6 lbs 11oz and 5 lbs 12 oz.

no no no. average babys are about 7-8lbs. my wife chest went from a 34c to a 34dd. she produced milk like crazy. dont know if it as anything to do with chest growth. but thats what happened to her. there have been short people with big babys so the size of the parents dose not mean you r going to have a larger than life baby. that is a common male idea. congrads

I got up to a 34 F and my baby only weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. I'm 5'6 and was120lbs before pregnancy and only gained 30 lbs. There isn't a correlation between the 2.
