Which brand of test is the most trustworthy as well as cost effective? Is it better to buy bulk or simply one of the kits?

Hi, I'm 26 weeks (Or 28, the baby is 26 weeks gestation) pregnant. My pee has been tested twice for sugar in the urine, and came back fine, but yesterday I did the 1 hour glucose test, and received a call back telling me my levels were elevated and would need to come and do the 3 hour test at my earliest convienience. They didn't tell me what the numbers were. I've been reading about gestational diabetes and it scares me, especially since 40% (!) of people diagnosed with it go on to develop type 2 diabetes. But, I don't understand why there's no extra sugar in my pee, but this last drink-the-orange-pop-test came back abnomal/elevated. Thanks for the help :)

Okay, say the mom has brown eyes (medium/light) and the father has blue eyes (light)... at 4 months the baby still has a darker blue eye color... what are the chances that they will stay blue?? And since mom has the recessive gene for blue eyes would it take the baby's eyes longer to turn to brown than most??? Thanks for all answers...

Hey everyone, I am 18 weeks pregnant, i will be weeks on thursday.

Well i am 17 years old, And people have been trying to make me feel bad for keeping my baby and not getting an abortion.

I have a great boyfriend that loves me very much, and we just moved in together, he wants to get married when i turn 18. He is very established and succesful to be 19 unlike most young men, and i feel blessed to have him.

Well my family doesnt care about me anymore, they dont call me or anything, and when i do talk to them its always negativity, and it hurts really bad.

I feel like my baby is a gift from GOD and everything happens for a reason.

I have a G.E.D and work part-time. I PLAN to go to school for criminal justice after the baby.

Am i wrong for keeping my baby, I have some support, from my sister and his family but it hurts that mine doesnt like me anymore.

Please help! Thanks!

He is 21 months old and he constantly points to my freckles and says, "Poop! Ew gross!". I tell him a million times a day they are freckles not poop. I know he understands me and he's normally a fast learner. Is he just doing this to irritate me? He's very serious when he says it.

My niece just turned 2, and she is talking in complete sentences, up to 8-10 words long. ("I want you to take my shoes off please!") She is very good with figuring out tenses, pronouns and sentence structure, and her ability to communicate well has made her somewhat lazy, since she is very clear with most of her ideas.

My sister and I are having trouble getting her to say the "L" sound, and don't want her to develop bad habits since she seems to be talking very well, very early. If we exaggerate the "L" with our tongues too much, she exaggerates too, sticking her tongue out and falling over the rest of the word.

Is it a matter of just stopping and correcting her with every "L" until she gets it right, even if it's exaggerated? Are there any songs (other than Deck the Halls) that have a good "L" sound for her to practice with, so she can have fun practicing without getting frustrated? Thanks in advance for the help!

Tomorrow I'll be seeing the person who sexually abused me for 6months about 3years ago.

I can't avoid it because I am going to see one of my best friends in a show and I know he will be there.

I wont be alone, I'll be with my friends boyfriend and one of our other friends.

I don't want to make a scene and I don't want to talk to him.

I didn't go to the police and only my friend who is in the show knows what happened. Please don't say don't go to the show or tell your parents or go to the police, because I'm not going to.

my friend (23) she just found out that she's pregnant..and she insist that she keep taking the pill, her mother did the same thing and her baby came out just fine, will my friends baby come out just fine if she keeps taking birth control pills? P.S. this is her first month on birth control pills...and she still wants to stay on them...and she is still on them...she found out she was a couple days pregant just today...

I have noticed a lot of pregnant women have outtie bellie buttons later in their pregnancy which kinda freaks me out a little. What I would like to know is if every pregnant womens belly button sticks out towards the end or do some not stick out at all?
