If the twins are not identical then yes, it is possible to give birth to twins who have different fathers.

Yes it is possible...but extremely rare. I was watching a show on television and they explained the odds of this happening. I don't remember the exact odds, but there is such a small window of time for conception to happen from two different fathers to two eggs. Read the following:

"Fraternal twins are formed when two separate eggs are fertilized by two sperms. If a woman has contact with different partners within her fertile time period and has multiple ovulations, it is possible for her to have fraternal twins or even triplets with different fathers. This phenomenon has been dubbed in medical literature as heteropaternal superfecundation"

It happens but is uncommon. The cases often make the newspapers (most recently, South Africa a couple of months ago).

Contrary to what some think, she can have sex with two men over a 3 day period as sperm survive 3-5 days although the egg only survives 24 hours after release without fertilization.

SO, first you need a gal who throws 2 eggs, who has sex with two guys over a couple of days. Then, you have to have reason to test the DNA of both children (hardly EVER do they do this, especially when it's clear they aren't identical, as it's an extra cost). So the likelihood of discovery of such a case is near NIL.

Yes. I was watching a talk show one day and this woman was trying to find the father of her baby. She slept with 2 different guys in I think it was within an hour of each other. They said that one guy was the father of one baby so everybody figured that he was the father of the other baby. But he wasn't, the other guy was. I didn't know this was possible either until I saw that show.

sure. it fairly is available, IF the lady releases 2 eggs rather of the everyday one egg. Then, it fairly is punctiliously available for 2 diverse doners to fertilize the two eggs. women taking fertility drugs have this happen for all time, the assorted eggs being released element, not many times the assorted intercourse companions on a similar time as ON fertility drugs... It HAS got here approximately without fertility drugs, yet is an exceedingly uncommon incidence on account that liberating 2 eggs rather of one would desire to happen to a minimum of one in 0.5 a million, or so i've got heard. i don't recognize ways credible the statistic is. a woman on fertility drugs who knows of she is going to launch assorted eggs might would desire to be loopy to have interplay in an affair on a similar time as on the medicine. the opportunities of diverse fathers is going way up while there are everyday to be assorted eggs in develop! Non-same twins from 2 diverse eggs happens greater many times than same twins.

Yes I watched a documentary about twins, fraternal twins are two separate sperms fertilizing two separate eggs so yes it is possible. I believe it said sperm can live in you for seven days; therefore, It one egg is fertilized on day one and the woman has sex with another man a few days later and another egg is fertilized, you can end up with two baby daddy's!

There was a relatively celebrated case some years ago in Alabama, I think, that says that it can happen.

A white women, who claimed she was forever faithful to her husband, became pregnant. After 9 months of carrying the baby, she went into labor. When the women got to the hospital the doctor promptly informed her that she was having twins and she was excited.

However as it turned out her husband divorced her the next day for cheating on her. See one baby was white and the other was african-american.

Yes, it is possible. In fact, it has verifiably happened.

If two separate eggs are released, they will be fertilized by two separate sperm. If the Mother-to-be had intercourse (either willingly or forcefully) in a short time span, then it would be possible for each egg to be fertilized by a sperm from a different father.

Well it is possible if the twins are fraternal (two seperate eggs). The odds are not good that it would happen though. It isn't possible in identical twins in any way.
